If stock exhaust volume does not live up to your expectations and you want a lot more turbo-6 sound to get to the cabin, this Supersprint 'Racing' muffler may just what you want. By using a smaller muffler body and more straight-through exhaust flow, more sound can be extracted from the very quiet turbocharged engine. Most of Supersprint's mufflers are designed to meet European noise levels which leaves some room to make them louder for the North American market but without being obnoxiously loud. This muffler converts the X3 to the 'dual exhaust' look with two tips on each side (bumper modification required). This gives a more muscular appearance and makes the X3 more like its bigger X5/X6 siblings. Note: tips are sold separately, choose from 80mm or 90mm tip styles below.

Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. These Supersprint resonators are for both banks of the exhaust (left and right). They are full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. The Supersprint Race mufflers are a freer-flowing version of the standard Sport mufflers for the F10 M5. Where the Sport mufflers make an aggressive but muted growl, the Race mufflers let you know they're there. And since the stock headers are known to be brittle and can crack over time these make for an excellent upgrade replacement.
This header system features an X-pipe after the headers to improve exhaust flow and scavenging. The X-pipe helps the exhaust gas mix and then flow into the rest of the exhaust. This tuned resonator section replaces the factory resonator and works with the Supersprint muffler for a new, more aggressive, but still tame, exhaust note. The resonator is tuned along with the rest of the exhaust to give a more sporty sound than the factory M235i resonator but still meet European noise regulations. If you want more sound after this, there is a resonator-delete pipe available as well.

Supersprint's tubular stainless headers for the X5 4.8 N62 engine replace the very restrictive stock manifolds and cats. With less restriction creating better flow, and relocating the catalytic converters, Supersprint has been able to gain an additional 21hp and 38ft-lbs of torque. They've even patented their tubular header and collector design. These are a direct bolt on to the N62 engine and are designed to be used with the Supersprint metallic sport cats or as a cat-less system (straight pipes). Other pieces are recommended or required.
