This kit includes every thing needed to replace your rod bearings.

Kit includes

Upper and lower WPC-treated rod bearings Hardware Oil filter BMW TwinPower Turbo Oil Oil pan gasket RedLine assembly lube

The S85 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure. If your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing, a failure that has the potential to trash your crankshaft.

What is WPC, you ask? WPC is a surface treatment that reduces friction and adds strength - two improvements that benefit internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds, like shot-peening - but much, much smaller. The parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. The two largest enemies of any high-performance engine are heat and friction - and WPC has found a way to reduce both. What are you waiting for? Use WPC-treated bearings on your next engine build or rod bearing service!

Kit Includes:

Turner Motorsport "Race Series" WPC-Treated Rod Bearing Shells (20) Genuine BMW Connecting Rod Bolts (20) OEM MANN Oil Filter Kit Castrol Edge Euro Car Engine Oil (10w-60) - 9 Quarts Genuine BMW Oil Drain Plug Turner Oil Change Decal Elring Oil Pan Gasket Permatex Ultra Slick Engine Assembly Lube (4 oz.)

• Recommended for OE applications and aftermarket engine rebuilding
• Ideal for gasoline or diesel performance engines with OE crankshafts
• Improved crankshaft finish reduces microscopic ferrite peaks
• Enhances oil clearance to reduce wear and increase engine lifespan
• Reduces operating noise, vibration, and excess oil flow

The S62 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure. If your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing, a failure that has the potential to trash your crankshaft.
