This sealed ball joint is in the lower rear outer control arm (swing arm) and is the primary weak point of the rear suspension. This one ball joint takes a lot of twisting and deflection so this is usually the first bushing to wear out. When it does, you have a 'loose' or disconnected feeling in the rear alignment. You can restore your car's stability by replacing this ball joint and also evaluating the other components in the rear suspension (upper wishbones and guide links). This part is made by Lemforder, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and is a perfect fit and excellent quality. A new snap ring is included for your convenience. Beware of non-OEM brands at cheap prices that will not perform at the same standards as BMW intended.

Rear trailing arm bushings serve the key purpose of keeping rear suspension triangulated and the vehicle moving where it's directed to. Though failure prone, even factory-fresh OEM rubber bushings allow for deflection, causing suspension geometry changes on hard launches, over bumps in the road, and during cornering. This deflection results in clunking in the rear end, a “rear steer” feeling, and uneven tire wear.

Powerflex polyurethane rear trailing arm bushings are firmer than OEM bushings, resulting in a reduction of deflection that causes these suspension angle changes, improving handling over bumps and with a proper alignment, extending tire wear.Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

The Powerflex Rear Lower Arm Rear Bushing for the BMW E60 5 Series, E63 6 Series, E53 X5, and E39 5 Series, designed for a 14mm fitting, is a performance-oriented upgrade that enhances the functionality of the rear suspension system. By replacing the stock rubber bushings with high-quality polyurethane, this bushing offers multiple advantages for improved handling and stability.

Key Benefits:

1. Improved Handling Dynamics: The firmer polyurethane construction reduces flex and unwanted movement in the rear lower arm, resulting in enhanced cornering stability and overall handling. This upgrade helps drivers feel more in control during aggressive driving and tight turns.

2. Superior Durability: Unlike traditional rubber bushings that can wear out and degrade over time, Powerflex bushings are designed to withstand harsh conditions. They resist damage from oil, heat, and road debris, ensuring consistent performance and longevity.

3. Enhanced Steering Feedback: By minimizing unwanted movement within the rear suspension, these bushings provide better road feedback and improved steering response. This results in a more connected and engaging driving experience, allowing drivers to feel more attuned to their vehicle.

4. Easy Installation: Specifically designed for the E60, E63, E53, and E39 models, these bushings are a direct fit into the existing suspension components. The installation process is straightforward, requiring no modifications and making it an ideal upgrade for DIY enthusiasts.

5. Versatile Performance: Whether for daily driving or performance-oriented applications, these bushings help optimize the rear suspension geometry, enhancing tire contact with the road and improving handling capabilities in various driving conditions.

This upgrade is ideal for BMW owners looking to enhance their vehicle's rear suspension performance. The Powerflex Rear Lower Arm Rear Bushing for the 14mm fitting is a reliable solution for improving handling, stability, and overall driving enjoyment, making it suitable for both everyday use and spirited driving scenarios.

Over time, road conditions can significantly impact your vehicle's suspension system. Factors like potholes, speed bumps, and other road hazards contribute to wear and tear, resulting in a less responsive and weaker suspension. Enhance your driving experience by regularly replacing worn components to improve safety and ride comfort.

When replacing parts in your front or rear suspension, it's advisable to change them in pairs (both left and right sides) or focus on inspecting components prone to failure. This approach maximizes the longevity of replacement parts and ensures optimal performance across the suspension system.

MINI R55 to R61 Race Polyurethane Rear Trailing Arm Complete Bushing Set is designed to keep the rear suspension properly triangulated, ensuring your vehicle moves as directed. Unlike factory-fresh OEM rubber bushings that allow for deflection and cause suspension geometry changes, these Powerflex polyurethane bushings are firmer, reducing deflection and improving handling over bumps. Proper alignment with these bushings also extends tire wear.

Powerflex, Europe's top-selling suspension bushing manufacturer, uses advanced techniques to produce these premium performance bushings, made to exact-fit standards. Built to last longer than OEM rubber bushings, they enhance performance and provide a more engaging driving experience.
