Arguably one of the hottest German performance vehicles of the decade, the G8X M3/M4 has quickly become a favorite among enthusiasts and race teams alike. Like most BMWs, the S58 motor has some serious heat issues under heavy driving conditions. CSF has been working tirelessly for the last year on a complete suite of industry-leading cooling products for the G8X platform. Now, with over 9 months of development and testing, CSF is pleased to announce the release of its highly anticipated high-performance G8X M3/M4 Heat Exchanger (CSF #8215) for both 6-Speed Manual (6MT) & ZF8 Automatic Transmissions. When the new M3/M4 was released in late 2020, it didn’t take long to see them hit the track. CSF’s Engineers and Motorsports department was in attendance for some of the first track days that local R&D Partners & Premier Dealers Studio RSR and Art of Attack took their new G8Xs to. The results were not all that surprising. Similar to the 2nd Gen B58 cars (A90 Supra & BWM G2X), the S58 had major issues with heat soak. This overheating of the intercooler system causes a large spike in Intake Air Temperatures (IATs). Subsequently, the ECU started pulling timing which decreases power output. In extreme cases, this can also send the car into limp mode. This problem became even more prevalent as testing continued into the hot summer months. CSF’s industry-leading reputation and deep knowledge of high-performance BMW cooling systems allowed its engineers to immediately identify the cooling weak spots on the S58 engine. The engine is very similar to the B58 in the A90 Supra and G-Series BMW 40i models. Both feature a liquid-to-air charge cooler manifold paired with a front mount heat exchanger (water radiator). The Heat Exchanger cools the fluid cycling through the charge cooler, dissipating heat from the system. Because the charge cooler is built into the manifold, it’s extremely expensive to replace with a high-performance unit. While CSF has developed a high-performance billet charge-air manifold for the S58 Motor (CSF #8233), the heat exchanger is still the most cost-effective way to bring down charge-air temps. The Front Mount Heat Exchanger is responsible for removing heat from the chair-air cooling system and is now recommended as a critical bolt-on upgrade. The CSF Heat Exchanger features a 2-Row (vs OEM single row) Core that is 42mm thick with CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology. Increasing the size of the core and end tanks adds to the overall volume of the system which helps absorb more heat. The more efficient core not only helps dissipate more heat from the system, but also provides better airflow into the radiator that sits behind the heat exchanger. A performance intercooler is a must when looking to get the most performance possible from your vehicle. CSF is here to remedy this situation with their all new High Performance Intercooler.

CSF has built up a reputation for themselves as one of the top contenders in the aftermarket community for performance cooling. With the success of their side mounted intercoolers for the S55 engine in the F8X M3 and M4, they have shifted their focus to the N55 and N20 platform. Their designs are a tried and true method using a bar and plate, stepped core intercooler. This, combined with the naturally high build quality of CSF products, will enable this motors to freely pull a much greater amount of air into the intake all while keeping things cooler than stock. This allows the engine to build power all throughout the RPM-band without the restriction that would normally start to be seen above 4500 RPM.

The CSF B58 Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer is the next level upgrade for the B58 Super Manifold (CSF #8200 - ES4389640). Made from KIYLEX®, a patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer. KIYLEX® is as strong as aluminum and can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. This spacer is designed to insulate the intake manifold from conductive heat transfer from the cylinder head. This thermal barrier reduces manifold temperatures which helps lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combats heat soak. CSF is the exclusive distributor for the KIYLEX® Intake Manifold Spacer for the B58 Motor. Aluminum has higher thermal conductivity than plastic resulting in a higher rate of heat transfer between the cylinder head and manifold. Adding the Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces heat transfer between the two metal components (cylinder head & manifold). The spacer absorbs the heat from the cylinder head and dissipates it rather than transferring it to the manifold. The CSF Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer was designed for vehicles competing in motorsports who demand the absolute best cooling in order to gain a competitive edge. With that being said, there are significant advantages to adding this spacer upgrade to any vehicle with the CSF B58 Super Manifold installed.

Designed in-joint by CSF, VF Engineering, and CPC (Custom Plenum Creations) for optimal performance, reliability, and cooling, this feature-rich intake manifold is the Tuner's dream manifold! The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts – taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. In a short amount of time, performance enthusiasts have already started to more than double the stock engine output – now pushing through 700whp, 800whp, and looking into the elusive 4 digit 1,000whp mark. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show an apparent weakness in cars that have bolt-on modifications, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. Also, the OEM intercooler system has been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, and drifting, as well as spirited driving on the street. This can cause the car to pull timing out of the engine due to high intake air temperatures (IATs), and then can cause “limp mode” once temperatures reach a certain threshold, as the vehicle’s ECU will cut power to protect the engine. CSF conducted extensive testing on the dyno with R&D partner VF Engineering to ensure performance improvements before going into production with the new manifold. CSF performed over 50 dyno runs on the same car, on the same day, in relatively hot ambient conditions (~90°F) comparing the performance of the CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold to the OEM. Both the CSF and OEM cooler went through roughly 25 back-to-back dyno pulls every 30 seconds to measure the performance of the car overtime, resistance to heat soak, recovery time, and the effect on the turbo system duty cycle.

The manifold can be used in either dual or single-pass configurations and features a new front port that has been optimized for ice box setups. This is the most versatile and largest manifold available on the market and has been race-tested on some of the fastest B58-powered drag cars in the world. Biggest/Best Core in the Industry Once you get into that 1000hp+ range on the B58, most aftermarket manifolds have reached their limits in terms of flow and cooling capacity. To resolve both limitations, CSF increased the size of the core by 25% over the #8200. The larger core has 15 cooling rows (vs 12 rows on the CSF #8200) and keeps up with the air flow demand while also increasing the cooling capacity. Dual or Single Pass CSF specifically designed the front water end plate of the manifold to allow for a single pass setup or ice box setup. This -16 ORB bung found on the front water plate is the largest available on any aftermarket B58 manifold (competitor’s unit uses a -12 fitting). CSF has teamed up with industry-leading fitting and hose experts Brown and Miller (BRMS) to optimize the water flow out of the front plate. CSF recommends using the following BRMS fittings with a maximum fitting angle of 120 degrees. BRMS is recommended by CSF because there are no flow restrictions on their fittings and are highly regarded as the best in the motorsport industry. Top Feed Port Injection with Included Fuel Rail The CSF Manifold includes an extruded fuel rail which attaches to the outlet side of the manifold. The AN-8 fuel rail comes with a -8 internal hex plug fitting. This allows you to run a returnless fuel system or a full loop setup. Fuel rail aperture for each cylinder is an optimized 7mm opening for compatibility with most commonly used high performance injectors CSF recommends using Injector Dynamics (ID) injectors for the best performance – the most commonly used injector for this engine has been ID model # 1050.34.14.14.6 (qty 6) Anodized CNC machined injector hats (qty 6) are included in the supplied hardware kit to accommodate short height injectors aka “shorties” Individual Nitrous / Methanol Injector Ports A 1/8' NPT port on each cylinder runner can be used for nitrous or methanol injection. The CSF manifold allows for maximum spray control and even spray distribution throughout the engine. A nitrous system set-up specifically for the CSF manifold is available from industry leaders Nitrous Express through Titan Motorsports. Expanded Vacuum and Parameter Pad CSF has included a port pad into the machining of the tank on the manifold inlet side. The ports can be used to measure additional parameters or as an additional vacuum source. The Race X Manifold has two additional 1/4' NPT ports to go along with the standard three 1/8' NPT ports. Each port can be plugged with the included hardware kit if they are not used. Easy Access to Spin-Off Oil Filter CSF incorporated a recessed design towards the back of the manifold that allows easy access to the spin-off oil filter. This means you do not have to remove your manifold every time you want to change your oil. Air Inlet Divider The inclusion of an air divider welded into the inlet side tank of the manifold is another exclusive feature of the CSF manifold. With the length of the manifold, the engineers at VF Engineering wanted to make sure that the volume and velocity of air was consistent to all cylinders. The inlet has an air divider to ensure the best possible airflow and equal cooling performance to each cylinder. Airflow to the back of the manifold (cylinders four, five, and six) should be equal to the airflow to the front of the manifold (cylinders one, two, and three) for the best possible performance. Breather Ports for Inlet/Outlet of Water Tanks Two 1/8' NPT ports are located on the top of the back water plate. These ports can be used to measure inlet/outlet water temps as well as used as breather ports to help in the bleeding procedure. 1/8th NPT plugs come included in the supplied hardware kit. Please follow OEM BMW or Toyota bleeding procedure which takes roughly 15 minutes to complete. Slotted Mounting Tabs Positioning the manifold in the engine bay is fairly straightforward. However, it can be a little frustrating to get the bolt holes on the intake side mounting tabs lined up perfectly. After doing a few test fittings CSF realized this could be resolved by slotting the mounting tabs. This allows the bolts to be installed before final positioning adjustments and makes installation a bit easier. Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer Made from KIYLEX®, a patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer. KIYLEX® is as strong as aluminum and can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. This spacer is designed to insulate the intake manifold from conductive heat transfer from the cylinder head. This thermal barrier reduces manifold temperatures which helps lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combats heat soak. CSF is the exclusive distributor for the KIYLEX® Intake Manifold Spacer for the B58 Motor. The addition of the Thermal Rejection Spacer is especially useful for Drag/Roll-Racing Events where vehicles typically sit in staging lanes in-between racing. This causes extreme heat soak to the liquid-to-air manifold as there is not sufficient airflow passing over the front mount heat exchanger when the car is idling (which is responsible for cooling the charge air fluid that runs through the manifold). This causes the starting IATs on subsequent runs to be higher than on the initial run. The CSF Manifold is made from Billet Aluminum and 100% TIG Welded for strength, which allows it to be able to withstand higher boost pressures compared to the OEM plastic manifold. Aluminum has higher thermal conductivity than plastic resulting in a higher rate of heat transfer between the cylinder head and manifold. Adding the Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces heat transfer between the two metal components (cylinder head & manifold). The spacer absorbs the heat from the cylinder head and dissipates it rather than transferring it to the manifold. Hardware Kit, Well Thought-Out Instruction Manual The supplied hardware kit includes all of the brackets, bolts, washers, and CNC machined fittings for installation. This is an industry-exclusive feature to the CSF x VF Engineering design, and was extremely difficult to not only engineer, but to manufacture as well. An array of items come vacuum packaged with corresponding letters listed on an easy to use Bill-of-Materials List (BOM) along with exploded diagrams and a simple order of operation procedure list to follow for installation. When CSF released the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” for G-Chassis BMW and Supra, it was a smash hit (CSF #8200/8200B). It quickly became the go-to manifold for racers and enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their B58. Over the past two years, people have been pushing the limits of the Gen 2 B58. While the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” has held up amazingly to countless 1000hp builds, customers still wanted more. Well, the wait is over and CSF is proud to introduce the “Race X” Charge-Air-Cooler manifold. Another industry-leading design by the trio of CSF, VF Engineering, and Custom Plenum Creations. The Race X Manifold has many of the features and specs as the Super Manifold in addition to some new race-focused features. The Race X Manifold is designed for high-level motorsports competition and racing applications. The limits of the current Super Manifold are very high and more than enough for many enthusiasts, tuners, and racers. However, those looking to push their Gen 2 B58s to the maximum have been asking for more. Race X features a 25% larger core, additional parameter ports, and an optimized water flow system. Designed in-joint by CSF, VF Engineering, and CPC (Custom Plenum Creations) for optimal performance, reliability, and cooling, this feature-rich intake manifold is the Tuner's dream manifold! The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts – taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. In a short amount of time, performance enthusiasts have already started to more than double the stock engine output – now pushing through 700whp, 800whp, and looking into the elusive 4 digit 1,000whp mark. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show an apparent weakness in cars that have bolt-on modifications, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. Also, the OEM intercooler system has been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, and drifting, as well as spirited driving on the street. This can cause the car to pull timing out of the engine due to high intake air temperatures (IATs), and then can cause “limp mode” once temperatures reach a certain threshold, as the vehicle’s ECU will cut power to protect the engine. CSF conducted extensive testing on the dyno with R&D partner VF Engineering to ensure performance improvements before going into production with the new manifold. CSF performed over 50 dyno runs on the same car, on the same day, in relatively hot ambient conditions (~90°F) comparing the performance of the CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold to the OEM. Both the CSF and OEM cooler went through roughly 25 back-to-back dyno pulls every 30 seconds to measure the performance of the car overtime, resistance to heat soak, recovery time, and the effect on the turbo system duty cycle. This consisted of over 50 dyno runs on the same car, on the same day, in relatively hot ambient conditions (~90°F) comparing the performance of the CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold to the OEM. Both the CSF and OEM cooler went through roughly 25 back-to-back dyno pulls every 30 seconds to measure the performance of the car overtime, resistance to heat soak, recovery time, and the effect on the turbo system duty cycle. This in-depth and thorough testing sets CSF apart from the competition. Because the CSF #8300 is the same overall design as the CSF #8200 with some small design adjustments to fit the Gen 1 B58, there is no question that it will perform. The Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” (CSF #8200) has been real-world tested and proven in some of the most extreme motorsport competitions around the world. It has stood up to the rigors of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Global Time Attack competitions, and Texas 2K drag racing, just to name a few. In addition, it has also been dyno-proven on many vehicles pushing over 1000 whp. When CSF released the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” for G-Chassis BMW and Supra, it was a smash hit (CSF #8200/8200B). It quickly became the go-to manifold for racers and enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their B58. Over the past two years, people have been pushing the limits of the Gen 2 B58. While the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” has held up amazingly to countless 1000hp builds, customers still wanted more. Well, the wait is over and CSF is proud to introduce the “Race X” Charge-Air-Cooler manifold. Another industry-leading design by the trio of CSF, VF Engineering, and Custom Plenum Creations. The Race X Manifold has many of the features and specs as the Super Manifold in addition to some new race-focused features. The Race X Manifold is designed for high-level motorsports competition and racing applications. The limits of the current Super Manifold are very high and more than enough for many enthusiasts, tuners, and racers. However, those looking to push their Gen 2 B58s to the maximum have been asking for more. Race X features a 25% larger core, additional parameter ports, and an optimized water flow system. The manifold can be used in either dual or single-pass configurations and features a new front port that has been optimized for ice box setups. This is the most versatile and largest manifold available on the market and has been race-tested on some of the fastest B58-powered drag cars in the world. Biggest/Best Core in the Industry Once you get into that 1000hp+ range on the B58, most aftermarket manifolds have reached their limits in terms of flow and cooling capacity. To resolve both limitations, CSF increased the size of the core by 25% over the #8200. The larger core has 15 cooling rows (vs 12 rows on the CSF #8200) and keeps up with the air flow demand while also increasing the cooling capacity. Dual or Single Pass CSF specifically designed the front water end plate of the manifold to allow for a single pass setup or ice box setup. This -16 ORB bung found on the front water plate is the largest available on any aftermarket B58 manifold (competitor’s unit uses a -12 fitting). CSF has teamed up with industry-leading fitting and hose experts Brown and Miller (BRMS) to optimize the water flow out of the front plate. CSF recommends using the following BRMS fittings with a maximum fitting angle of 120 degrees. BRMS is recommended by CSF because there are no flow restrictions on their fittings and are highly regarded as the best in the motorsport industry. Top Feed Port Injection with Included Fuel Rail The CSF Manifold includes an extruded fuel rail which attaches to the outlet side of the manifold. The AN-8 fuel rail comes with a -8 internal hex plug fitting. This allows you to run a returnless fuel system or a full loop setup. Fuel rail aperture for each cylinder is an optimized 7mm opening for compatibility with most commonly used high performance injectors CSF recommends using Injector Dynamics (ID) injectors for the best performance – the most commonly used injector for this engine has been ID model # 1050.34.14.14.6 (qty 6) Anodized CNC machined injector hats (qty 6) are included in the supplied hardware kit to accommodate short height injectors aka “shorties” Individual Nitrous / Methanol Injector Ports A 1/8' NPT port on each cylinder runner can be used for nitrous or methanol injection. The CSF manifold allows for maximum spray control and even spray distribution throughout the engine. A nitrous system set-up specifically for the CSF manifold is available from industry leaders Nitrous Express through Titan Motorsports. Expanded Vacuum and Parameter Pad CSF has included a port pad into the machining of the tank on the manifold inlet side. The ports can be used to measure additional parameters or as an additional vacuum source. The Race X Manifold has two additional 1/4' NPT ports to go along with the standard three 1/8' NPT ports. Each port can be plugged with the included hardware kit if they are not used. Easy Access to Spin-Off Oil Filter CSF incorporated a recessed design towards the back of the manifold that allows easy access to the spin-off oil filter. This means you do not have to remove your manifold every time you want to change your oil. Air Inlet Divider The inclusion of an air divider welded into the inlet side tank of the manifold is another exclusive feature of the CSF manifold. With the length of the manifold, the engineers at VF Engineering wanted to make sure that the volume and velocity of air was consistent to all cylinders. The inlet has an air divider to ensure the best possible airflow and equal cooling performance to each cylinder. Airflow to the back of the manifold (cylinders four, five, and six) should be equal to the airflow to the front of the manifold (cylinders one, two, and three) for the best possible performance. Breather Ports for Inlet/Outlet of Water Tanks Two 1/8' NPT ports are located on the top of the back water plate. These ports can be used to measure inlet/outlet water temps as well as used as breather ports to help in the bleeding procedure. 1/8th NPT plugs come included in the supplied hardware kit. Please follow OEM BMW or Toyota bleeding procedure which takes roughly 15 minutes to complete. Slotted Mounting Tabs Positioning the manifold in the engine bay is fairly straightforward. However, it can be a little frustrating to get the bolt holes on the intake side mounting tabs lined up perfectly. After doing a few test fittings CSF realized this could be resolved by slotting the mounting tabs. This allows the bolts to be installed before final positioning adjustments and makes installation a bit easier. Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer Made from KIYLEX®, a patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer. KIYLEX® is as strong as aluminum and can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. This spacer is designed to insulate the intake manifold from conductive heat transfer from the cylinder head. This thermal barrier reduces manifold temperatures which helps lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combats heat soak. CSF is the exclusive distributor for the KIYLEX® Intake Manifold Spacer for the B58 Motor. The addition of the Thermal Rejection Spacer is especially useful for Drag/Roll-Racing Events where vehicles typically sit in staging lanes in-between racing. This causes extreme heat soak to the liquid-to-air manifold as there is not sufficient airflow passing over the front mount heat exchanger when the car is idling (which is responsible for cooling the charge air fluid that runs through the manifold). This causes the starting IATs on subsequent runs to be higher than on the initial run. The CSF Manifold is made from Billet Aluminum and 100% TIG Welded for strength, which allows it to be able to withstand higher boost pressures compared to the OEM plastic manifold. Aluminum has higher thermal conductivity than plastic resulting in a higher rate of heat transfer between the cylinder head and manifold. Adding the Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces heat transfer between the two metal components (cylinder head & manifold). The spacer absorbs the heat from the cylinder head and dissipates it rather than transferring it to the manifold. Hardware Kit, Well Thought-Out Instruction Manual The supplied hardware kit includes all of the brackets, bolts, washers, and CNC machined fittings for installation. This is an industry-exclusive feature to the CSF x VF Engineering design, and was extremely difficult to not only engineer, but to manufacture as well. An array of items come vacuum packaged with corresponding letters listed on an easy to use Bill-of-Materials List (BOM) along with exploded diagrams and a simple order of operation procedure list to follow for installation. The F97 X3M and F98 X4M are powered by the same high-performance S58 engine found in the G8X M3, M4, and M2. While these SUVs deliver impressive power and speed, they also suffer from the same heat management challenges as their sedan and coupe counterparts. That’s where CSF’s advanced cooling solutions come in—becoming essential upgrades for S58 owners, even for those keeping their engines mostly stock. After over a year of development and testing, CSF is proud to introduce the Front Mount Heat Exchanger & Transmission Cooler Module for the F9X X3M and X4M. One of the biggest challenges in developing a Front Mount Heat Exchanger for these models was limited space. Unlike the G8X models, the X3M and X4M feature a different transmission oil cooler, restricting the available room for a larger heat exchanger due to the mounting cradle. After extensive testing with smaller core designs, CSF determined that integrating the Heat Exchanger with a Transmission Cooler Upgrade was the optimal solution for maximizing both size and performance. By combining both components into a single cooling module, CSF achieved a design that accommodates the same core size as the G8X Heat Exchanger. The integrated Auto Transmission Cooler utilizes the same dual-core design as the G8X Transmission Cooler and is seamlessly fitted to the new Heat Exchanger. This innovative all-in-one module not only addresses two major cooling issues for the X3M and X4M but also reduces overall costs—savings that are passed along to the customer. Compared to the stock heat exchanger, CSF’s upgraded design offers significant improvements. The TIG-welded aluminum tanks are much larger than the OE plastic tanks, providing superior strength and fluid volume. A 2-row 42mm core increases cooling efficiency and capacity, utilizing CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology to enhance airflow and heat dissipation. Multi-louvered fins further expand the heat exchange surface area, improving overall cooling performance while maintaining proper airflow. Built entirely from high-strength aluminum, this system ensures maximum durability and reliability. The mounting tabs and brackets are significantly stronger than the factory plastic components, offering improved longevity. Additionally, the heat exchanger includes an integrated bolt-on metal rock guard, which is far more robust than the stock plastic version—providing better protection against road debris and ensuring greater confidence in the system’s resilience. CSF’s Transmission Cooler features an innovative dual-pass design that dramatically enhances cooling performance. Unlike the OEM single-core cooler, CSF’s front-to-back stacked core design more than doubles the surface area and nearly triples the core volume. Engineers leveraged the extra space freed up by replacing the OE cooler and oversized plastic cradle, effectively doubling cooling capacity while maintaining a perfect OEM fit—no modifications required. By switching from a single-core to a dual-core design, CSF achieved a 201% increase in overall volume, significantly improving heat dissipation and fluid capacity. Using CSF’s AC Condenser Technology, the cooler incorporates a high-pressure 1-row 16mm 9-channel microtube design, optimizing oil flow and maximizing surface area contact. These features work together to provide the most effective heat dissipation possible, keeping transmission temperatures under control even under extreme conditions. The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts – taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. In a short amount of time, performance enthusiasts have already started to more than double the stock engine output – now pushing through 700whp, 800whp, and looking into the elusive 4 digit 1,000whp mark. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show an apparent weakness in cars that have bolt-on modifications, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. Also, the OEM intercooler system has been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, and drifting, as well as spirited driving on the street. This can cause the car to pull timing out of the engine due to high intake air temperatures (IATs), and then can cause “limp mode” once temperatures reach a certain threshold, as the vehicle’s ECU will cut power to protect the engine. This consisted of over 50 dyno runs on the same car, on the same day, in relatively hot ambient conditions (~90°F) comparing the performance of the CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold to the OEM. Both the CSF and OEM cooler went through roughly 25 back-to-back dyno pulls every 30 seconds to measure the performance of the car overtime, resistance to heat soak, recovery time, and the effect on the turbo system duty cycle. This in-depth and thorough testing sets CSF apart from the competition. Because the CSF #8300 is the same overall design as the CSF #8200 with some small design adjustments to fit the Gen 1 B58, there is no question that it will perform. The Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” (CSF #8200) has been real-world tested and proven in some of the most extreme motorsport competitions around the world. It has stood up to the rigors of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Global Time Attack competitions, and Texas 2K drag racing, just to name a few. In addition, it has also been dyno-proven on many vehicles pushing over 1000 whp. While there are countless features and details to show just how superior the CSF Manifold is, real-world examples speak louder than words. Disclaimer:​ CSF pressure tests each #8300 manifold at 60-70 PSI for a period of 2-3 minutes during the Quality Control and Inspection process. The CSF manifold is not designed to operate above 60 PSI. Any users who chose to operate their vehicle with the CSF manifold over 60 PSI does so at their own risk. Operation at these pressure levels will void the CSF Limited 2 Year Warranty.
