The Supersprint 'Race' rear muffler system is one step beyond the standard Sport mufflers. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Race' mufflers are designed for street use and the name only distinguishes it from the standard Sport system. With the stock system the sound is very subdued. With the 'Race' mufflers the sound is much more noticeable and more aggressive - a perfect sound to compliment the assertive nature of an M6. You will hear this exhaust but it will not be intrusive or sound out of place on a civilized sports/GT car like the M6. This is the original Supersprint street rear muffler for the E46 M3. It's a direct replacement for the stock rear muffler but with less restriction and better flow. This exhaust is not overly loud (conforming to European noise restrictions) and no drone but is larger and heavier than the other Supersprint mufflers. It makes a deeper tone than with slightly more rasp than the stock system.

These Supersprint performance mufflers enhance the athletic side of the M6's personality. With a freer-flowing design there is more of that exhaust pop and rumble coming to the cabin, reminding you that this is a BMW Motorsport vehicle and not a luxury cruiser.
