This package covers the front control arms and bushings on the 2001-2005 E46 325Xi and 330Xi. These cars use a unique front suspension but the principle design and downside, is the same as almost all of the BMW 3-series since 1984. The inner and outer ball joints see a lot of wear as they are constantly in motion. With the heavy front end of the 4WD Xi, these components need frequent inspection and replacement. When the bushings and ball joints fail, the front end can shimmy and feel loose through the steering wheel. Excess play in the rubber bushings can cause alignment problems and sloppy steering. There is usually a knocking or clunking sound to further annoy you. We've assembled thispackage to replace everything on both front control arms and restore your BMW's exceptional driving dynamics. All parts are OEM Boge, Lemforder, or Original BMW to maintain the highest quality standard.

Control arms are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.
