The Active Autowerke Power Pulley Kit for the BMW E9X M3 reduces parasitic drag at the crankshaft, trimming rotational mass and freeing up horsepower that would otherwise be consumed by accessory drive load. The result is a measurable increase in rear-wheel output without sacrificing the balance, cooling capacity, or long-term durability expected from a properly engineered BMW upgrade. The crank pulley is CNC-machined from billet 6061 aluminum and finished with a hard-coat anodize for durability under sustained high-RPM operation. Unlike undersized pulleys that compromise system function, this design maintains proper operating characteristics while delivering real-world gains. Late-2007 production E9X M3 models transitioned to a double-sided (DPK) A/C belt configuration.
