How does the integrated automatic cooling work? The integrated automatic cooling works by us installing a thermal activation switch directly onto the new half bridge IC. The full plug-and-play EKPM3 / EKPM2 cooler kit is designed specifically for E89 BMWs using an EKPM3 or EKPM2 fuel pump control module. This is recommended for anyone using a low-pressure fuel pump that is larger than the OEM fuel pump. Please note that if you have an HW06 + (Slim EKPM3), you must choose the HW06 option, as the pre-HW06 housings will not fit. Installation Tips: https://arcterminator.com/pages/e90-e92-e93-ekp-cooler-install-instructions We recommend using Fuse #8, which is the cigarette lighter fuse to power this. It is a 20 amp fuse, which you will just need to pull out and put it into the empty slot of the fuse holder that comes with the kit. Then you'll need to put that fuse holder into the now empty #8 fuse slot. This ensures that the fan will only turn on when the ignition in the car is turned on. You'll also need trim removal tools, as well as a 10mm socket to remove and re-install the EKP module. We recommend using the stock grounding point that's above the EKP module or the EKP module's mounting points as the ground. The ring terminal with the kit will fit either location. The whole installation should take you between 30 - 45 minutes. The cooler housing is designed to fit over the EKP module just like the OEM housing and fits with plenty of room in the stock EKP location. Introducing the comprehensive N54/N55 Low-Pressure Fueling Solution! With Radium Engineering's Regulated Fuel Hanger Surge Tank at its core, this kit allows you to tailor your fuel pump setup, select an in-line fuel filter, and opt for a wiring kit for multiple LPFP configurations in your N54 or N55-powered E9X 335i. In this setup, the BMW fuel pump serves as a "lift" pump, maintaining fuel volume in the Fuel Hanger Surge Tank via a dedicated orifice. This guarantees sufficient pressure for the venturi jet pump(s) to operate, ensuring consistent fuel delivery. Excess fuel in the FHST cycles back to the OEM tank through a one-way check valve ensuring a steady fuel supply. Unlike conventional surge tanks, which rely on pump flow matching, this FHST employs additional mechanisms to continuously deliver fuel regardless of fluctuations in other fuel sources. When the main tank nears depletion, the lift pump and Fuel Pressure Regulator step in to supply fuel to the FHST. Furthermore, with a boost reference signal (Hobbs Switch), the Fuel Pressure Regulator operates at a 1:1 ratio, allowing fuel pressure to rise proportionally with boost pressure. The low-pressure fuel returning from the Fuel Pressure Regulator is routed back into the surge tank to maintain its fullness. Inside the canister, a 6-hole diverter ensures even fuel dispersion without air bubbles or foaming. The stainless electrical studs included effectively handle high current demands, surpassing the capabilities of compact bulkhead connectors. These resilient connections are sealed against all standard and exotic fuels, with non-conductive acorn nuts provided to prevent accidental short circuits. The kit also includes the necessary electrical hardware for one Walbro fuel pump and the OEM level sender, while the in-tank wiring is insulated with premium chemically resistant ETFE for enhanced durability. If you are planning on running more than one LPFP, you will need to select the Hobbs Switch option for boost reference (to be installed on the manifold or charge pipe), as well as the fuel pump wiring kit!
