Don't neglect your motor mounts! Most stock BMW motor mounts are fluid-filled and the stiffness of the mount depends on this fluid. But over time the fluid leaks out and the strength of the mount is significantly reduced. A worn motor mount allows the engine to twist and shift around. The harder you're driving the more shift will occur. As the engine moves around, it can contact other parts in the engine bay - usually cooling-related. The mechanical fan can hit the radiator; the A/C compressor can hit a radiator hose, the exhaust will flex and may break. Twisting of the engine can also lead to shifting problems as the transmission twists with it. There are countless issues related to worn or compressed motor mounts so don't overlook these as a regular replacement item (every 50,000 miles).

If you've ever taken out your diff, you know how much of a pain it is to get the bolt holes to line up during re-installation. They never seem to line up perfectly, and getting the bolts to go in can be time-consuming. Condor's diff studs are designed to make your life a little easier. The diff will line up and lift right into the holes every time. 38mm studs are used with OEM or regular subframe bushings. 45mm studs are used with the 12mm riser subframe bushings. You'll need to pull the driveshaft to drop the diff. Use thread locker during install. Recommended for street or race use. Kit includes: 4 Studs 4 Washers 4 Lock Nuts

Soft bushings are the enemy of launching hard, and keeping your drivetrain together. The BMW Transfer Case bushings are notoriously soft, and that is the opposite of what you want when launching a car hard. You can replace the bushing with a solid one, but this is time-consuming usually requires lowering or removing the transfer case, and results in a lot of added NVH. The best path is simply to reduce the amount of flex of the factory bushing so you keep the nice manners when cruising around town, and at idle, but when its time to the launch the transfer case cannot move as it could without the insert. These come as a set of two with 2 bolts to keep them in place. Install time once you get to them is about 2-3 minutes. Could not be easier. Put some lube on them, push them in, and tighten the screws. These are a MUST for high-power G8X, and F9X X3/X4M Builds. All platforms they fit are below. VTT noticed a hole in the F9X X3/4M market for a high-quality, lightweight, NVH-friendly, and easy-to-install Diff Lock Down kit to improve diff stability under launching, and hard cornering. So we did something about it and went to work on a very innovative design that 100% positively locks the diff down from movement, while shielding it from adding a ton of NVH, and can be used with the stock diff, and subframe bushings. This design uses existing mounting points on the vehicle, you do NOT have to remove the subframe or the Diff to install. Simply remove 4 differential bolts, drill two holes in the subframe slightly bigger, install two M8 riv-nuts, and install the lockdown, you do not even have to move the exhaust. A typical install can be 30-45 minutes for someone who is experienced working on vehicles, an hour or two if you like taking it slow. VTT noticed a hole in the A9X/Z4 market for a high-quality, lightweight, NVH-friendly, and easy-to-install Diff Lock Down kit to improve diff stability under launching, and hard cornering. Vargas went to work on a very innovative design that 100% positively locks the diff down from movement, while shielding it from adding a ton of NVH, and can be used with the stock diff, and subframe bushings. This design uses existing mounting points on the vehicle, you do NOT have to remove the subframe or the Diff to install. Simply remove 4 diff bolts, drill two holes in the subframe slightly bigger, install two M10 riv-nuts, and install the lockdown, you do not even have to move the exhaust. A typical install can be 15-30 minutes for someone who is experienced. You will need a Riv-nut tool to install the Riv-nuts as one is not included. Features: Lightweight 1.5 lbs for the entire lockdown plate Uses FOUR connection points on the Diff, and two on the subframe for the ultimate in positive diff location, this will stop all diff movement on launch, saving your guibos, etc 100% Billet construction from 6061-T6 aluminum Anodized in 4 colors for corrosion resistance, a long-lasting finish, and good looks The subframe does NOT have to be removed for installation Uses all 12.9 grade hardware Does not add excessive NVH Positively locks down the diff to eliminate all unwanted movement under launches, acceleration, cornering, etc.
