Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

2 way adjustable 27mm front sway bar / swaybar for E46 323/325/328/330. Includes bushings.

  • Reduces body roll
  • Improves steering turn-in and handling
Sway bars are typically sold as a front and rear set to balance the handling. But a front sway bar only can also have excellent benefits, especially on a street car. Going with a larger front bar will improve steering and handling even at low-moderate speeds. Steering turn-in is faster and gives the car a more direct and responsive feel. Cars with staggered wheel fitments (a narrower front wheel compared to the rear) will especially benefit from this and help the front tire 'bite' into the road.

We use an adjustable 27mm sway bar that has been fine-tuned for use on the E46 non-M models. Urethane bushings with a reinforced inner core that requires no lubrication are included. These bars are crafted from a special spring steel that is both stronger and more resilient than competitive sway bars. They have been shot peened and heat treated, and feature precision forged ends.

Fits RWD models only (not 325xi/330xi).

This item fits the following BMWs:
    1999-2005 E46 BMW 323i 323ci 325i 325ci 328i 328ci 330i 330ci

This is the 3rd Generation of the TMS E36 sway bar / swaybars and features CNC'd ends, two adjustment positions, re-countoured bends for better clearance, and one of the largest solid sway bars available (30mm). We couldn't find a large front sway bar that we liked so we made our own - perfect for taming that understeer!

From years of racing the E36 in World Challenge we have discovered the E36 favors a larger front bar without over doing the size of the rear. We normally pair this front bar with our 24mm rear bar. This is the best combination we could find to reduce body roll while making handling as neutral as possible. The swaybar sits in a polyurethane bushing which has a squeak resistant lining. Perfect for street use and great for competition / track applications.

This is the E36 front swaybar only and we sell it as an upgrade over other smaller front sway bars (27mm, 28mm, etc.). For the Front/Rear swaybar set, click here.

With Powerflex Performance Street front sway bar bushings you get: Enhanced Stability and Handling Precision: Powerflex Front Sway Bar Bushings are designed to provide a significant improvement in stability and handling precision for your BMW. By reducing unwanted sway bar movement, these bushings contribute to a more controlled and secure driving experience. Whether you're navigating tight corners or maneuvering through challenging road conditions, you'll notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability. Improved Ride Comfort: While enhancing stability and handling, Powerflex bushings also contribute to improved ride comfort. They help minimize body roll during cornering, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable ride for both daily commuting and spirited driving. You can expect reduced body movements and a more composed driving experience. Durability and Longevity: Crafted from high-quality materials, Powerflex Front Sway Bar Bushings are engineered for durability and longevity. They are designed to withstand the rigors of daily driving, ensuring long-lasting performance. With these bushings in place, you can trust that your BMW's sway bar remains secure and stable over the long term, reducing the need for frequent replacements. Noise and Vibration Reduction: Powerflex bushings excel at dampening unwanted noises and vibrations, enhancing overall driving comfort. This reduction in cabin noise contributes to a quieter and more serene driving environment, allowing you to enjoy a more pleasant journey. This Whiteline 24mm sway bar gives you more grip, better handling, and better outright performance. Sway bar upgrades are one of the best dollar-for-dollar investments you can make, improving your BMW's handling dynamics without affecting the comfort or ride quality.

Hotchkis Sport Suspension products have been developed with strength, reliability, fitment, appearance, and durability all factored into their products to ensure that customers are never left unsatisfied. Suspension components are exposed to not only the elements, but also constant ever changing forces that will push the limits of any performance component to its breaking point if not built to a superior quality. This is especially true in vehicles with lowered suspension. Make sure your suspension is ready for any abuse thrown its way with Hotchkis Performance Sway Bars.

Performance sway bars allow you to take corners aggressively while still keeping the wheels firmly planted and reducing body roll, all without reducing overall ride quality. Hotchkis sway bars feature powder coated tubular steel construction for maximum durability and stiffness. Every kit includes the essential components needed for an easy installation and to ensure you get the most from your sway bars.

The sway bars are constructed by KW, made of lightweight 1.25” (32mm) OD, 0.120” (3mm) wall DOM tubular steel, for the greatest durability and rigidness possible. Finished in a blue powder coat for maximum corrosion resistance. The Sway Bars also come kitted with 80A Poly Sway Bar Bushing bushings from Energy Suspension, along with black anodized 6061-T6 billet brackets with check valve grease ports, and finally 4 new Genuine BMW nuts to install it all. When lowering your BMW without changing your swaybar end links, a significant amount of preload is applied to the swaybar. This can negatively affect the handling characteristics of your vehicle and cause unwanted stress on a number of other suspension components. Luckily, this can easily be remedied with our very own Turner Performance Adjustable Swaybar End Links! Adjustment Range:11.4"-12.9"
