The VTT B58/S58 Head Port Block-Off kit is designed to either seal off the factory head ports used by the OEM low-side PCV system. These ports in the cylinder head utilize engine vacuum to evacuate crankcase gases, but in the process, can allow oil to enter the intake manifold, leading to valve carbon buildup and other performance issues over time. The Block-Off kit offered by VTT completely seals the factory head ports to prevent oil intrusion and unwanted vacuum leaks. This kit does NOT require any tapping, meaning no metal to get into the engine, etc. You simply tap the plugs into place. Key Features Eliminates oil draw-through into the intake manifold Prevents carbon buildup on intake valves Utilizes precision-machined plugs for boost sealing Fully reversible — Block-offs can be removed if needed No tapping is required. FITS with the engine cover on. Engine cover can be removed, and installed without removing the breather. Can be used by itself with the stock PCV system to eliminate crankcase pressure, or with any number of PCV setups, including our VTT Engine catch can for the ultimate in crankcase pressure relief. Made from 6061-T6 Aircraft aluminum anodized black for a long-lasting finish, 4 stainless steel baffles for complete oil control, a PTFE one way check ball, a high-quality filter, and clamp all work together to keep crankcase pressure where it belongs, out of your crankcase. This breather will fit all B58 Vehicles that use the most common oil fill cap design. This does NOT mean it fits all BMW vehicles. Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.
