BMW claims their transmission fluid to be a "lifetime" fluid, however is recommended to be changed every 60,000 miles to ensure a longer transmission life. Though not exposed to the same level of heat and contamination as engine oil, transmission oil still breaks down over time due to heat and becomes contaminated as your transmission wears. Old contaminated oil can lead to excessive wear and tear on sensitive transmission components which could lead to slow shifting, slips, and even complete failure. This is also true for the transmission filter integrated into the transmission fluid pan. The filter removes metal particles from the transmission fluid and eventually begins to clog, preventing fluid from passing through the filter easily. This leads to excessive wear and a reduced transmission lifespan if not changed. This high-quality Meyle transmission pan includes a new filter and is quintessential for a correct and full service.

Dinan Iridium Spark Plugs are an excellent upgrade for tuned, and even stock engines. Our spark plugs are made from Iridium - one of the strongest materials available. They last longer than other materials with higher melting points, run cooler, resist preignition, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. The iridium electrode with its copper core is harder and stronger than other materials, can dissipate heat more easily, and is better protected from melting, cracking, and other limitations found with standard plugs. Dinan spark plugs are great for high boost, high cylinder pressure, high cylinder temperatures, and high-power situations, and they pair nicely with a set of Dinan ignition coils, where applicable. However, they are not only for tuned and higher output vehicles that may benefit from a plug cooler than the factory heat range - they also are applicable to non-tuned / stock vehicles as well!
