The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
The BMS Gen 1 B48 charge pipe upgrade is constructed from high-gauge aluminum and features a CNC throttle body and turbo flange for a snug, OEM-style fit.
