We designed our G80 M3 Carbon Fiber front lip in-house in efforts to perfectly compliment the aggressive factory styling of the BMW G80. Our engineers made every effort to give our front lip "OEM+" styling, featuring more aggressive protrusion, higher kick winglets, extra spacing between the center of the bumper and the lip surface. The photos we have featured on this product page should speak for themselves - the front lip just looks right on the G80. This piece is constructed from beautiful 2x2 twill carbon fiber with a gloss finish. We kept installation in mind with our design, taking care to use factory bumper mounting locations. We've also included an optional mounting tab in the center of the lip for the use of a self-tapper.

This is the front lip you have been waiting for - aggressive OEM+ styling finished in beautiful 2x2 twill gloss carbon fiber. Front splitters/lips are an important aerodynamic upgrade that not only changes the look of your car, but also helps to create downforce, improving your vehicles overall handling at higher speeds. Since the G80/G82 M3 was designed to make impressive power in stock form (and loads more with upgrades) these cars feature some heavy-duty cooling hardware. In order to keep oil temperatures down (something many late model M cars have struggled with) requires a large oil cooler. BMW engineers positioned the oil cooler quite low under the car, positioned horizontally - an aerodynamic design that creates a vacuum force while driving, drawing heat from the oil cooler. The issue some of the vehicle owners have experienced is road debris from small branches to chunks of ice that have impacted the OE belly pan hard enough to crack the oil cooler draining the car's oil rapidly. Being one of the lowest points of the car, even a close encounter with a parking block can mean the end of the road for the factory belly pan - and oil cooler. Damage to the belly pan means reduced cooling, which can result in dangerously high engine temperatures. Once the belly pan is damaged, there is no longer any protection for the oil cooler, meaning damage to the cooler and a catastrophic loss in oil pressure may be right around the corner.

You are looking at the BEST license plate bracket for your BMW, price no object! We never understood why BMW would put a cheap, plastic bracket on the back of a BMW to hold a license plate. The screws holding the bracket on would rust, the steel inserts hold the plate on would also rust, causing the hardware holding the plate on to seize or just no longer function. Our bracket fits any BMW that mounts license plates in the rear that use factory part number 51-18-8-238-061. Fits most BMWs produced AFTER 1999. If your vehicle does not use the plastic plate, it will not fit. Does not fit E46 touring (wagon). PROBLEMS with the factory bracket and hardware The screws that secure the plastic bracket are plated steel and will corrode over time. These two screw would normally not be seen since it is under the license plate, but it is holding the bracket onto the trunk. The four (4) nutserts that are pressed into the plastic frame (to hold the license plate) are also steel and will eventually seize with the bolt and just spin in the plastic frame becoming useless. The plastic frame itself is flimsy, doing a near minimal task of holding on the license plate. The hardware securing the plate to the bracket will rust, seizing to the nutsert or even spinning in place becoming completely useless. SOLUTION Create a more robust bracket that would not only be stiffer but also more corrosion resistant; CNC’d aluminum with an anodized finish. We machine a near identical plate, matching factory dimensions, from 1/2" plate of aluminum. Instead of nutserts pressed into plastic, map the correct position and machine the threads for the hardware directly into the plate. The hardware used to secure the new bracket to the trunk would be made from stainless steel (or optional corrosion-proof titanium) The hardware used to secure the license plate to the newly engineered bracket would also be stainless steel (or optional made from titanium) Kit Includes: One (1) Rogue Engineering designed and manufactured CNC'd aluminum license plate bracket Two (2) Stainless screws to secure bracket to trunk. Four (4) stainless screws to secure license plate to bracket.

The G8x M3 and M4 cars are incredibly well sorted from a cooling standpoint. Even in a road course environment with extremely high ambient temperatures, the S58 engine tends to operate beautifully, with consistent oil and water temperatures. Although excellent ducting, good core design, strong fans, and other factors all play into how well a cooling system works, there is one ultimate factor that cannot be circumvented- you must have enough heat exchanger surface area, and you must have enough heat exchangers. A direct impact on the oil cooler can have catastrophic effects, draining the S58 of all of its oil in seconds, a fact that more than a handful of previous generation M3 and M4 owners have had to learn in a painfully direct way. When examining the front of an M3 or M4, then, we see the hard work of the M engineers in packaging the various cooling components of the car. Everything had to be accounted for, and given ample space, surface area, and ducting. Unfortunately, this leaves the S58 engine’s oil cooler precariously exposed with no protection.
