By keeping the factory mounting location and relative dimensions, the factory ducting and shrouds are all reused with no modifications necessary. In addition, CSF added a rock guard to keep the cooler safe. You’ve no doubt heard horror stories about an OEM cooling getting punctured and spilling oil all over the road or track. FITS with the engine cover on. Engine cover can be removed, and installed without removing the breather. Can be used by itself with the stock PCV system to eliminate crankcase pressure, or with any number of PCV setups, including our VTT Engine catch can for the ultimate in crankcase pressure relief. Made from 6061-T6 Aircraft aluminum anodized black for a long-lasting finish, 4 stainless steel baffles for complete oil control, a PTFE one way check ball, a high-quality filter, and clamp all work together to keep crankcase pressure where it belongs, out of your crankcase. This breather will fit all S58 Vehicles that use the most common oil fill cap design. This does NOT mean it fits all BMW vehicles.
