Our Turner Motorsport rear shifter bushing is a precision-engineered solution designed to eliminate excessive deflection in the factory BMW G8X shift carrier assembly. The OEM rubber bushing introduces unwanted compliance that translates to a vague shifter feel, imprecision under load, and potential gear misalignment during aggressive driving. This polyurethane and billet aluminum replacement addresses that with a focused approach to both material selection and mechanical function.

Our engineer replaced the soft rubber isolator with a 70A durometer polyurethane bushing housed in a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body. The result is a significant reduction in bushing deflection while retaining the necessary articulation for BMW’s dual-bushing shift carrier design. Strategically placed relief cuts in the poly insert allow controlled movement without compromising rigidity where it matters most, translating to a more direct, confident shift feel without introducing harsh NVH into the cabin.

Pair our G8x DSSR with our upgraded poly rear shifter bushing for the fully upgraded shifting experience. This DSSR is designed for G8x models that have the selector rod p# 25118097173.

Upgrade from your single connection selector rod to a dual shear selector rod or DSSR for a stronger connection and an overall better shifting experience. The factory BMW selector rod is made of hollow aluminum tubing and attaches to both the shifter and transmission from one side utilizing a pin-and-clip design. The factory single-side attachment only has a small amount of surface area contacting both the shifter and transmission selector, which relies directly on the connecting pin to do all of the shifting and control. This can cause a loose and/or lackluster experience when shifting gears or shaking your shifter in neutral. Your new Turner DSSR features a much larger contacting surface to both the shifter and transmission; not only does the upgraded DSSR have larger faces contacting your shift components but it also features double the amount of mounting surfaces. This dual shear selector rod hugs your shift lever and selector tight from both sides and eliminates deflection and sloppiness for the best shifting experience possible.

This clutch pedal bushing kit for the BWW G80 M3, G82 M4, G87 M2, and the MK5 Toyota Supra replaces all of the factory plastic bushings that wear out, warp, and are just an overall sloppy and poor design, with the highest quality CNC machined billet pieces. Clutch Masters' kit includes two stainless steel bushings that replace the factory plastic bushings for the clutch pedal pivot point as well as a stainless steel clutch pedal pin that replaces the factory plastic pin. Also included in the kit are two billet aluminum pins that replace the factory plastic pins that hold the clutch master cylinder in place. The Clutch Masters FX1000 is a 10.00” (254mm) Twin Disc clutch unit designed for high horsepower applications that performs well on the track and can even withstand heavy street use. The strap-driven plate design allows for smooth engagement and minimal clutch chatter while still being able to withstand hard launching, clutch kicking, and high RPM shifting. Designed for the enthusiast who pushes the limits of performance on their high powered vehicle and wants to maintain excellent pedal feel. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and is then Type 3 hard anodized. Our billet covers have roughly 25% more tensile strength than the competition’s cast unit. By focusing our ability on machining the strongest cover possible while maintaining minimal weight, we are basically able to eliminate any flex in the cover. Our billet covers see only .003" of flex where as a cast or stamped unit can see as much as .030" of flex. By eliminating this flex in the cover, the driver is able to operate the clutch much more consistently and confidently. All the movement being applied to the diaphragm of the clutch from the throw-out bearing is used solely to engage and disengage the clutch and isn't wasted by the cover flexing first. The strength of our covers also results in greater clamping force over the same amount of area vs. a cast or stamped cover. This means our twin discs are easy to drive and have superior clamping force to make sure all the power your engine is making is being utilized. Flywheels are made for each specific application in either aluminum or steel. Our aluminum flywheels are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA. Aluminum flywheels are Type 3 hard coat anodized to ensure their durability and performance lasts. Each aluminum flywheel includes a replaceable insert. Steel flywheels are machined from 1045 billet cores and are then black oxide treated for rust prevention.
