Their goal was to set a new benchmark for intake design providing true gains, not just "claims." The G8X M3/M4 intake system is one of their most ambitious intake systems to date. It features sealed filter housings to maintain a more steady IAT, even while stationary. The new ducts which seal the housings, coupled with our scoops ensures unrestricted airflow whilst maintaining low IATs through cold air saturation. Every detail was taken into account to ensure that they created a flagship intake to set a benchmark for this platform. From the scoops to the ducts to the intake tubes – Eventuri has developed a “complete solution” to ensure a smooth inlet track with cold air saturation. With a carbon weave to match the OEM M Performance carbon – this truly is a new benchmark. The filter housings are positioned with the openings sealed against the carbon ducts. These ducts have been designed to fit over the stock cold air ducting channels and direct ambient air into the filters. These ducts seal the openings of the filter housings and prevent heated air from entering the filters. This performance heat exchanger from CTS features a number of upgrades over the stock intercooler, offering better reliability and cooling performance. The first major upgrade is the heat exchanger's full alumnimum constructions. The factory heat exchange is partially constructed from plastic, which is prone to damage and cracks as the plastic becomes brittle over time. Full aluminum construction results in a stronger intercooler, which will last the lifetime of your BMW. The second major upgrade is a redesign of the coolant flow path and fin layout. This redesign allows for higher cooling efficiency, resulting in greater heat dissipation and reduced coolant temperatures.

The BMW S58 G8X M3/4 Carbon fiber intakes! BMW did a wonderful job designing these intakes and we have found they are only slightly restrictive at elevated power levels, mostly due to the secondary filter inside, and the factory paper filter. The factory setup is EXTREMELY efficient with only a couple of small changes. With this in mind, VTT decided to just take their cues, and make factory-style carbon fiber intake tops with no secondary filters, and high flow cotton pre-oiled filters. These are 8 layers of 100% carbon not a single layer wrapped over plastic and they are 1.3MM thick with the VTT logo vacuum printed onto the tops, with a UV resistant gloss clear coating. This is not only strong but will resist discoloration for an extended period of time.
