The stock Genuine BMW front "lower" control arms (31108095665 & 31108095666) are great for standard daily driving and occasional spirited driving, but they tend to fall flat on the track due to the soft rubber bushings causing excess deflection, creating undesirable handling characteristics. In order to address this issue, Turner now offers new Performance Adjustable Front Lower Control Arms! These control arms offer multiple benefits over stock control arms, helping to keep your BMW under control and on the track. In order to get the most out of your BMW M3/M4, these new control arms provide roll center, camber, and track width adjustment to dial in your alignment for optimal handling! Additionally, the ball joint angle has been corrected to allow for full articulation. Stainless Steel spacers are provided to correct roll center for lowered vehicles. The use of FK Rod Ends and High Misalignment Spherical Bearings eliminates the flex and binding found in the OEM control arms while allowing smooth articulation. Another great feature of these control arms is the Double Adjuster Lock Down. This allows camber and track width settings to be adjusted and locked in without the use of finicky jam nuts. This double adjuster is machined from 4130 Chromoly; gun-drilled to reduce weight, then electroless nickel plated for corrosion resistance. A ride height sensor bracket is also integrated to maintain factory ride height sensor location, regardless of the length of the arm to keep BMW's chassis electronics happy. Front Lower Control Arm Features: Lightweight 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Electroless nickel plated 4130 Chromoly Double Adjuster for quick adjustment Correct ball joint angle for full articulation Rotating Clamp design allows for easy access to lock down alignment settings Low friction 3-piece Teflon lined FK spherical bushings and Heim joints/rod ends Multiple size Stainless Steel roll center spacers for precise adjustment Sold as a pair. What is often mistaken for brake fade or fluid boiling, can actually be rubber brake lines expanding under pressure. Even when brand new, factory rubber brake hoses expand under pressure, requiring increased fluid volume and more pedal travel for the desired stopping force. This expansion is even more prominent in aged and weathered rubber hoses. Turner Motorsport Stainless Steel brake lines are engineered and assembled with braided stainless steel mesh and offer superior expansion resistance and reinforcement. The resistance to expansion creates a firmer pedal, and a more direct pedal feel. The signature blue polymer coating provides additional protection from the elements and abrasion, which is common with the constant movement of suspension and braking systems. When you buy brake lines, you want them to last for years to come. Conventional SS lines will corrode the first time they are exposed to water, regardless of how much you spend. Turner has developed a proprietary zinc-nickel coating finish with nearly twice the salt-spray corrosion resistance of a standard plating. Turner SS brake line also feature new low profile connecting hardware, for a cleaner mounted look. Get the brake lines that will continue to look as good as they feel! All Turner brake lines are engineered to comply with DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) FMVSS 106 standards. All lines are manufactured on dedicated, DOT-compliant brake equipment and each is tested to 3000 psi before being shipped.
