Elevate your Mini's braking performance with Hawk Performance Pads, delivering the precision and stopping power your MINI demands. Engineered with low dust, low noise materials, these pads are suitable for various driving needs, from autocross to daily commutes. Experience up to a 40% decrease in stopping distance for enhanced safety and control.
Not sure which Hawk performance brake pad suits your needs? Refer to the "Hawk Brake Pad Compounds" graph for guidance. Pads on the right side such as DTC-50, DTC-60, or DTC-70 provide aggressive stopping power for the track but may not be suitable for street driving due to higher required temperatures. Opt for pads on the left side such as HPS 5.0, HP+, or the new Street Race for a more street-friendly upgrade, offering lower dust, quieter performance, and improved brake torque while being gentle on rotors.

Keep your Mini's braking system in optimal condition with regular maintenance. Brake pads naturally wear down over time, and modern vehicles often come equipped with wear sensors to alert drivers when replacement is needed. If your car doesn't have sensors, watch out for pulsations and grinding noises, which indicate worn pads. Ensure your Mini stops safely and efficiently by replacing worn pads promptly and conducting thorough inspections of your rotors and calipers.
Ensure optimal braking performance for your Mini with regular brake pad maintenance. As brake pads wear down, they may trigger warning signals such as dash lights or high-pitched noises. Without sensors, you may notice pulsations and grinding noises. To maintain safe braking, promptly replace worn brake pads and inspect rotors and calipers.

From years of European automotive experience, the enthusiasts at ECS Tuning have developed a strong understanding of what it takes to produce a quality high-performance brake pad. After thousands of miles and many different pad compounds, they've landed on the ideal blend for the new EP24 "Enthusiast Performance" brake pad! If you're looking for a streetable, track-capable, performance brake pad, look no further than the ECS EP24!
Features & Benefits:
Strong stopping power - Increased coefficient of friction offers satisfying stopping power when cold (a necessity for a street pad!) and even more G-force-inducing power when they warm up. With cold and warm friction comparable to Hawk HPS (and higher than many other street pads) the stopping experience with the EP24 pad is impressive for street-driven vehicles on streetable tires. Positive initial bite - Race pads have the reputation of acting like an on/off switch, which is a no-go for a pad for a street application. The EP24 offers OE-level initial bite for low-stress braking in stop-and-go situations. Reasonable dust - Race pads utilize a high metallic composition. Pads that use high amounts of metal not only dust terribly, but also will bake onto wheels with high temperatures and are a bear to clean. This is not the case with these performance street pads. Now using these pads on most of our shop cars, we’ve found over time that dust is comparable to factory pads in most applications (with greatly improved braking performance). Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. While not as quiet as our ceramic DD23 pad, you’ll still be able to drive your spouse to dinner. Long life - This should be an obvious one. Even in a performance pad, your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. This compound wears slower and is kinder to rotors than two of the top competitors.
EP24 "Enthusiast Performance" brake pads are included in our Lifetime Replacement Program for worry-free motoring.
