JM Turbo Cooper - Extreme GTD47 K04 Turbocharger Upgrade

JM Turbo Cooper offers the Extreme GTD47 K04 turbocharger upgrade designed to deliver outstanding reliability and high-performance gains for the 2007+ MINI Cooper. This upgrade is a top choice for Mini and Peugeot owners, providing exceptional power output for applications exceeding 280hp.

Update: The improved gasket design on the back side now features a seamless gasket inset, and the package includes a new gasket for your convenience.

The JMTC Extreme GTD47 upgrade boasts a high-pressure, high-flow, dual-scrolling turbo that features a substantial 50mm compressor wheel. This design ensures maximum boost at the top end of the RPM range, making it ideal for track, off-road, and extreme street applications. The large GTX exhaust turbine complements the setup, delivering extra boost at high RPMs and preventing torque loss compared to the stock K03 turbine.

Whether you seek extreme track performance, drag strip dominance, or unrivaled street upgrades, this turbocharger is the perfect choice. It's important to note that to harness the additional power, a custom tune is required. Running without a tune will result in minimal to no HP gain.

• Approximately 60hp with a tune, intercooler, downpipe, cold air intake, new plugs, basic maintenance, and carbon blasting/cleaning.
• 120hp or more with all the above modifications, plus a ported head, larger valves, ICE pipe, intercooler, and a 3"+ or larger exhaust system.

For engine and turbocharger reliability, JMTC recommends a 3.0" or larger downpipe/exhaust size for the GTD turbochargers. Please avoid using the stock downpipe or stock-sized catalytic converter.

The OEM intake boot can be used with the removal of the inner sleeve for N14 engines. For N18 engines, the OEM boot at the turbo connection will need to be heated and expanded slightly, which can be done with a heat gun. This turbocharger also fits AEM intake, NM Eng intake, and Forge Intake (Boot). Please note that the hose might need to be warmed and stretched over with a hose expander.
