Turbos for BMW A90 MKV Supra B58 3.0L

Clear BMW chassis

If more boost and reliability are your goals choose from one of our BMW turbo upgrades. Our turbo upgrades range from stock turbos rebuilt with stronger internals to all-new, ground-up turbo upgrades. BMW turbos such as the N54 are capable of really impressive power numbers on stock engine internals but the factory turbos lack the precise tolerances and reliability that an upgraded unit will deliver. In other words, the stock turbos can only do so much and if big power (>400whp) is your goal a turbo upgrade must be in your plans. Our partners are leading experts in turbo technology and upgrades. Each Stage has been professionally developed and tested. Additional upgrades and tuning may be, or is, required. Contact us for more details on tuning options.

Turbo inlet pipes serve two very distinct, and differing, purposes. On one hand, the optimization of a turbo inlet pipe will encourage better turbo efficiency and responsiveness by allowing the turbo to ingest more air by way of an unobstructed and larger volume flow path. On the other, you have a more visceral benefit that some may argue is equally important than that of efficiency/flow optimization --- increased sound. No matter which of the distinct purposes is favored, Dinan will deliver on both. Regardless of application, a Dinan turbo inlet replaces the weak, and failure-prone, plastic factory inlet with a more robust carbon fiber one. CNC machined fittings are utilized to ensure proper fitment and guarantee installation as a direct replacement to the OEM inlet. Beyond material and fitment however are the improvements to the characteristics of the primary element in the system, the pipe itself. The stock turbo inlet has incorporated additional features (multiple in some cases) that introduce flow restrictions and turbulence while also reducing turbo noises. All of which are unwanted but easily rectified by removing the various resonators and enlarging (and optimizing) the path for a more uniform flow. The result is an inlet that delivers not only more air and allows the turbo to be more efficient (work less) but also provides the oft-desired amplification to the turbo induction soundtrack. Features: Increased turbo efficiency and reliability courtesy of maximum unimpeded and uniform airflow. Eliminates the factory sound resonator for increased turbo vocalization. 14% increase in overall volume over OEM inlet. Average of 7.7% larger internal diameter throughout (maximum cross-sectional area allowed). Carbon fiber construction for increased durability and visual appeal. Direct replacement of OEM turbo inlet. Quick and easy bolt-on installation. Dinan Factory Matching (4yr/50k) Warranty Emissions Note: This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Tampering Policy dated November 23rd, 2020. The company has reasonable basis (test results) to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and the EPA Tampering Policy. This product is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending with CARB. Once testing is complete with California, and an E.O. number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.

Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.

Ready to take your B58 to the next level? Don't want to deal with core charges, long lead times, or restrictive factory housings? Look no further! VTT has you covered with our 100% new casting B58 “GC” turbocharger upgrade. We start by keeping the great design elements of the factory B58 turbo and removing the not-so-great ones such as the small factory inlet area, bearing housing oil structure, thrust bearing, and anything else we saw that could be improved upon. With the basics covered, we stepped it up a level adding in proprietary VTT changes and finished off by having all these parts cast to OE quality. What this means for you is serious B58 power made easy; GC's are a drop in B58 turbocharger upgrade that supports over 600WHP while maintaining factory spool and all factory connections including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe. Key Design Elements: All new castings with factory restrictions removed. No oversized wheels stuffed into factory housings here! No long lead times; once fully released production units will be on the shelf for same to next-day shipping (please inquire about stock levels when ordering) Full 12-month unlimited mileage/No Hassle Warranty. If you have an issue we will replace the unit no questions asked Turbocharger Purchase includes: 1 – VTT B58 “GC” turbocharger 1 – VTT B58 “GC” 3'-4' Silicone inlet elbow with adapters for factory connections 1 – 3' hose clamp for silicone inlet elbow As with any turbocharger upgrade it should be coupled with complimenting upgrades such as fuel system upgrades, intake, downpipe, intercooler, tune, etc. While you will see gains going from stock turbo to a GC/GC+ with no other changes, to realize the full potential of the upgrade other parts/tune must be added. The GC, GC-MID, and GC+ Come with a silicone intake tube, that will fit the stock airbox, and SOME intakes with no mods. It does not fit all, such as Injen, etc. If this is the case, you can either modify something work, or you can add the VTT MAF housing, and filter which will work with the GC inlet hose. Please be aware. This system removes the PTC heater, and it WILL register a shadow code in the DME. In our testing, this did NOT throw a check engine light. The code is only there if your scan the car. If you wish to remove the code it must be coded out.
