The Shark Injector is meticulously designed to safely improve performance while enhancing driveability and responsiveness. Installation is a breeze - simply connect a battery charger to ensure your car battery has backup power, plug in your Shark Injector, and initiate the process with the push of a button. While the Shark Injector replaces parts of the stock software, it also stores the original data in the unit for future use if needed. The BMW M52TU engine is already finely tuned, but there are still ample opportunities to elevate your driving experience. Jim Conforti has expertly fine-tuned this Shark Injector to enhance various aspects, from fuel maps and ignition timing to VANOS operation. The result is an impressive addition of 15 HP and 12 lb/ft of torque. Engine response is significantly improved, and the rev limit is raised to 7,000 RPM. Additionally, the speed limiter is removed, unlocking your BMW's full potential. Enjoy a vastly improved driving experience, especially during part-throttle and wide-open throttle acceleration.

APEX light alloy wheels are the next evolution in flow-forged wheel technology for BMWs. Flow-forming is a semi-forging process that produces a wheel typically stronger than a traditional cast wheel yet is still light weight. The wheels are around 10lbs lighter per wheel than a comparable factory wheel! That's reduced unsprung weight that improves all aspects of performance. The spokes and barrel have been designed to allow generous clearance for big brakes. In other words, these wheels are very impressively engineered and look great too! The design is based on classic motorsport themes that blend with BMW styling and appearance. These wheels look right at home on many BMW models. Multiple color and profile options allow you to set just the right look and stance for your car. As well as being pleasing to the eye these are very strong and functional wheels that are at home on the street as well as the racetrack. Don't let the price fool you - these wheels are high quality, high strength, and in high demand.

All APEX wheels are the BMW standard 5/120 bolt pattern and with a 72.6mm center bore. They are a direct fit many BMW models and may fit other models with a specific wheel spacer. The original BMW center cap, TPMS sensors, and original lug bolts are all carried over from your original wheels (wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used). They come in a wide variety of diameter, width, and offset combinations which gives you multiple fitment and application opportunities. For street use we generally recommend a staggered setup with a rear wheel slightly wider than the front. For track and racing applications a square setup is desired with the same width in the front and rear. Wheel offsets may also vary based on the clearances and stance you wish to achieve. Note: careful consideration of wheel width, offset and tire sizing must be observed when choosing and installing larger wheels. Adding larger wheels may lead to rubbing on suspension components or bodywork. Wheel spacers, new alignment settings, inside fender modifications, or other adjustments may be required. Stage 2 Performance Software for E36 M3, MZ3 (Turner-Porsche 3.5" HFM, larger injectors)

Conforti Shark Injector performance software tuned for our Stage 2 OBD2 package: larger fuel injectors, Porsche 3.5" HFM, and intake. This is the correct software to use with the desireable Porsche 803/809 HFM on the OBD2 E36 M3. You should not be running a larger HFM without software and injectors - you're in danger of running too lean! On the dyno we found that the stock fuel injectors were not capable of providing enough fuel to keep up with the increased airflow. This "leaner" fuel mixture was dangerous as it could lead to hotter combustion temps and burning or melting of critical components. With the correct HFM, larger injectors, and this software you will be back to running correct air-fuel ratios.

With this software you will notice more top end power, a broader torque band, and a smoother running engine. The rev limit is raised to 7000 RPM with the top speed limiter removed. Works with 91 or higher octane fuel.

Required:
"24lb" injectors (actually around 26lb injectors when used at the S52's 3.5 bar of fuel pressure). You must confirm the injector flow-rate at 3.5 bar before using this software. If the injectors were not purchased from us, we may as for the Bosch part number on your injectors.
Porsche 809 3.5" HFM (0 280 217 809) (TMS/Porsche HFM works best) with intake. Note: this will not work with a Euro HFM, 540 HFM, or Dinan HFM. Our software is programmed and written specifically for the Porsche 809 HFM! If you did not purchase the HFM Kit from us, we may ask you for the Bosch part number from your HFM.

A capable battery charger is required for the installation. The charger provides backup power supply to the regular car battery during installation. It must be capable of holding a continuous 10amp charge for the full installation (15-20 minutes).
The minimum octane fuel for this software is 91.
