This tensioner is for either the Water Pump or Alternator on cars with the mechanical belt tensioner system. Please check to ensure your car does not have the hydraulic tensioner. This tensioner comes with the pulley assembly.

This is an OEM INA A/C tensioner for the serpentine belt on your BMW. This tensioner keeps the belt for the Air Conditioning taught to provide maximum performance of each system.

The OEM INA Tensioner Bearing allows the belt tensioner arm to rotate and apply pressure to the serpentine belt. With a bad bearing, the arm may seize up and prevent the tensioner from working properly.
