The N47 and N57 Oil Filter Housing Kit provides a complete replacement assembly to restore factory engine oil filtration and fluid separation. Repeated engine heat cycles degrade the factory plastic oil filter housing and gaskets, causing severe oil leaks and potential oil contamination within the cooling system. Because the transmission cooler bolts directly to the oil filter housing, replacing the entire stacked assembly simultaneously prevents secondary seal failures across multiple mating surfaces.   • Housing Torque: 10nm Filter Housing to the Block

Turner Tip:  Always inspect the oil cooler and its internal passages for hidden debris, especially if the old thermostat has failed, as broken plastic or metal bits can clog the system!
