They are typically about 20% firmer than the original shock, improving body roll, brake dive, and overall handling. These shocks provide improved handling and stability without sacrificing ride comfort. DampTronic B6 Performance shocks and struts are intended to be used with OE springs, allowing you to upgrade your rides performance while retaining factory electronic suspension and controls. Bilstein recommends B8 Performance Plus shocks and struts when lowering a vehicle with lowering springs.
