This intercooler is designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the OEM intercooler. All hose inlets and outlets align with the existing engine configuration. Through a more efficient design of bar and fin structure, the folks over at Racing Dynamics were able to increase the frontal area by 60% providing more cooling to induction air. Colder induction air equals more horsepower. This intercooler uses cast end caps, a bit more expensive but provides more rounded shapes for better airflow. Cast aluminum end caps give the best results in air flow and reliability. Each end cap is TIG welded to the intercooler core.
