Is your N54/N55 oil temp running too high? The most likely cause is a faulty OE oil thermostat. With this ECS Low Temp Oil Thermostat Kit, you can keep your engine happy with oil temps holding between 194F (90c) to 230F (110c).

This is the perfect solution for both higher milage models and models that have been tuned or further upgraded with performance turbochargers,

Oil Thermostat Bung
Oil Thermostat Spring
Oil Thermostat Shaft Assembly
