Braselton, GA. – September 30th, 2015 – With the 2015 Tudor United SportsCar Championship finale fast approaching, Turner Motorsport prepares to finish the season out on a strong note following their second place podium at Circuit of the Americas two weeks ago.

The 17th annual running of the Petit Le Mans will mark the final round of the North American Patron Endurance Championship as well as the final race of the 2015 Tudor Championship; deciding the coveted Championship titles in both the prototype and GT classes.

In just two days, the No. 97 IHG Rewards Club BMW will face off against a field of highly competitive GTD entries on the 2.54-mile, 12-turn Road Atlanta.

One year ago, the Turner No. 94 BMW Z4 of Dane Cameron and Markus Palttala finished fourth in their 10-hour quest to clinch the 2014 Tudor Championship to mark the blue and yellow’s seventh professional racing championship since 2003.

This year, the season regular drivers Michael Marsal and Markus Palttala will be joined by Andy Priaulx and Billy Johnson in the No. 97 IHG Rewards Club BMW in hopes of finishing the season on a high note.

Andy Priaulx joined the Turner Motorsport team earlier this season at both Daytona and Sebring and will return to make his third appearance of the season this weekend at Road Atlanta.

"It's great to be back with the Turner guys this weekend, it's been too long!” said Andy Priaulx. “This will be my fifth visit to Petit Le Mans, It's a tough and long race, very mentally demanding. The No. 97 IHG Rewards Club BMW and team have proved what's possible at COTA so I’m hoping we can do one better this weekend.”

In addition to the return of Andy Priaulx to the Turner line up, Billy Johnson will make his first appearance with Turner since 2013. Johnson joined forces with Michael Marsal behind the wheel of the No. 93 GT M3 for the entire Rolex season capturing several podium finishes.

“It's been a while but I'm excited to be back with Turner Motorsport this weekend for the season finale,” commented Billy Johnson. “We've had a lot of podiums together in GT racing over the years and I'm looking forward to driving with team regulars Michael Marsal, Markus Palttala and Andy Priaulx to (hopefully) add another podium to the season.”

“I’m excited for our final race of 2015,” commented Will Turner. “We have a super strong driver line up and some momentum coming out of Circuit of the Americas so I think with the right strategy and a little luck we can pick up another podium to wrap up the season.”

With the driver lineup set, the Turner team will begin practice on Thursday in preparation for Petit Le Mans on Saturday.

Petit Le Mans kicks off Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00am ET. The first four hours of the race can be watched LIVE on Beginning at 3:00pm ET the race can be seen on Fox Sports 2 LIVE.
