Hand Tools for BMW 6 Series E24 (1977-1989)

The 12 Piece 3/8" Drive Magnetic Spark Plug Socket Set from VIM Tools is expertly designed for effortless spark plug removal and installation. Each of the 12 magnetic sockets in this set features a satin finish and is equipped with magnetic rings to securely hold the spark plug in place during use.

The sockets are neatly organized in a black and green EVA foam tray with clearly labeled sizes for quick identification.

The set includes a variety of socket types—metric, SAE, 6-point, 12-point, standard length, extra deep, thin wall, universal joint, and dual drive—making it versatile enough for use in a wide range of domestic and imported vehicles.

The spring-loaded universal joint design allows for easy access to spark plugs in tight or confined spaces, while the knurling on the socket body provides extra grip for hand turning. The 12-point 14mm sockets are easily distinguishable by their double knurling, saving you time on the job. Additionally, the dual drive feature lets you use either a 3/8" drive ratchet or a wrench for added flexibility.

To secure shocks and struts to their mounts, the retaining nut must be torqued to its proper specification using a torque wrench. An improper torque value may result in premature mount failure - or worse. Strut nut sockets allow for the use of an allen wrench to hold the damper shaft while utilizing your 1/2" drive torque wrench on the socket to achieve proper torque.
