BMW's are notorious for their failure-prone control arm bushings. The pliable rubber bushings, present even in M performance models, allow substantial movement of the front wheels to enhance everyday driving comfort. However, they also permit significant alignment changes, leading to a disconnected and numb road feel that detracts from a confidence-inspiring driving encounter. Over time, the fluid-filled rubber bushings succumb to fatigue and cracking due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, ultimately resulting in the leakage of damping fluid and complete failure.

For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available! Our experience with spherical control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).

The bearing housing is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit, and utilize a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise. We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting. The advantage of a sealed ball joint is that it eliminates all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete bind-free movement throughout suspension travel, resulting in exceptional control of wheel alignment. What you get is superior steering precision, turn-in response, direct braking feedback, and better handling.

In short, if you're seeking the ultimate in precise, predictable handling and control, with crisp braking response and a long service life that’s equally at home on the street or track - look no further. We have you covered.

Since BMW recommends the control arms be replaced for every other bushing change, we prefer to sell these as a pre-assembled set, and are available (T599476) if you would prefer that option.

BMW’s are known to have failure prone front thrust arm bushings.  The flexible rubber bushings, even those found in M performance models, allow significant movement of the front wheels to maximize daily driving comfort, but also allow considerable alignment change.  This results in a disconnected and numb road feel, standing between you and a confidence inspiring driving experience. Eventually the fluid filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, and eventually the damping fluid leaks out resulting in complete failure.

For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available!  Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints goes back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 race cars (GS class Champions in 2011). We wanted to offer as many BMW owners possible a similar level of handling, precision, and control for the track and street.

Utilizing a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise.  We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting. Swapping E46 Non-M control arms to your E36 is a quick way to increase camber and increase your front tire track width. To makes this an easier process, we are proud to introduce our Pre-Installed Turner Motorsport Front Control Arm Monoball Upgrade kit! Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011). We wanted to offer e30, e36, and e46 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street, but weren’t satisfied with the other options out there. Instead of a Delrin® bushing or unsealed spherical bearing alone, we selected an oversized sealed greaseable spherical monoball to offer unparalleled durability and precision, but designed a Delrin® adapter sleeve to help isolate the added noise, vibration, and harshness that a full solid monoball bearing will have. While race-ready, our hybrid Delrin®/monoball control arm bearings are more at home on the street than other kits that are advertised as “race-only” bearings. We did extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the spherical bearing used in this bushing design excelled in each setting. The stock rubber bushings, even those found in the M3, allow significant fore/aft movement of the front wheels to help absorb road impacts, especially when being pushed hard. This soft flexible design maximizes daily driving comfort, but also allows considerable alignment change. This unwanted deflection stands between you and a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience. The advantage of a monoball bearing is that it will not deflect under load, eliminating all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete freedom of movement in the desired angles. What you get is superior steering precision with better handling from more consistent alignment and direct braking feedback, with exceptional service life. Thanks to the Delrin® insert and double lip seals, there's none of the extra noise or reduced service life often found on other spherical bearings. In short, if you're seeking front control arm bushings that offer precise, predictable handling, crisper braking feel, with a long service life free from noise - look no further. We have you covered.

When it comes to drifting, steering angle is the name of the game. Although the E30 and E36 steering angle from the factory isn't awful, it isn't optimal either. Luckily, some savvy BMW enthusiasts noticed similarities between the E46 and E36 front control arms and found a simple swap could yield significant steering angle increases! This method isn't new, but it can be challenging at times to source the exact product that you need. To make this swap more user friendly, we have developed our very own E46 Monoball Conversion Bearings and built this kit to include all common items required to do this job in one afternoon! NOTE (E30 Fitment): Installation of this kit removes the stock sway bar end link mounting locations in the control arm. We recommend running your BMW without a front sway bar or having your suspension professionally modified by a local shop to allow for sway bar mounting tabs to be welded to your front strut bodies. NOTE (E36 Fitment): Installation of this kit removes the stock sway bar end link mounting locations in the control arm. We recommend running your BMW without a front sway bar or swapping to M3 style front struts.

Tighten up and dial in your BMW's suspension with this limited-time Doorbuster package! This package includes the Turner Rear Adjustable Camber Arm Set (Street) and Turner Motorsport Control Arm Monoball Upgrade with housings (FCAB), allowing you to dial in your rear camber and tighten up the front control arms, improving your BMW's handling and driving feel.

REAR ADJUSTABLE CAMBER ARM SET - STREET
Top seller! The Turner Adjustable Rear Camber Arms: The Only Adjustable Arms Approved for Grand-Am Continental Tire Challenge Racing Series

Why you should use Turner Motorsport camber arms on your car:

  • If you have a lowered car and have run out of adjustment with the stock camber arms.
  • If you have a track car and are looking for increased camber adjustment, lightweight pieces, stronger components, and improved suspension handling
  • Two bushing styles to meet your needs: solid rod-end for track-only use (See T#304098), or rubber bushing for mixed street/track use (approved by Grand-Am!)
  • The high range of adjustment allows a full racecar setup or a heavily lowered car to maintain factory specifications.
  • Only high quality and high strength materials and components are used
  • Aluminum camber arms are designed as a lightweight component, thereby reducing wear and tear on other, more critical parts (rear subframe, control arm bushings, etc). Each camber arm weighs only 2.5 lbs making for a total of 5 lbs for both parts! Stock camber arms weigh 3 lbs each. We have seen competitor's arms that weigh twice as much!
  • Hardcoat anodized aluminum, stainless steel turnbuckles, and stainless rod ends to all but eliminate corrosion from getting into the threads and making adjustment difficult.
  • CNC-machined double shear design for ease of installation, high strength, and choice of outside bushing material. But we do suggest using with (outer bushing # 33326775551) for best performance.
  • Easy adjustment - our main adjustment point is on the outside by the wheel so there is no need to work around the exhaust or subframe to adjust camber.
  • All hardware included.

TURNER MOTORSPORT CONTROL ARM MONOBALL BUSHING UPGRADE (FCAB)

Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).  We wanted to offer e30, e36, and e46 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street, but weren’t satisfied with the other options out there.  Instead of a Delrin bushing or unsealed spherical bearing alone, we selected an oversized sealed greaseable spherical monoball to offer unparalleled durability and precision, but designed a Delrin adapter sleeve to help isolate the added noise, vibration, and harshness that a full solid monoball bearing will have. While race-ready, our hybrid Delrin/monoball control arm bearings are more at home on the street than other kits that are advertised as “race-only” bearings.

In short, if you're seeking front control arm bushings that offer precise, predictable handling, crisper braking feel, with a long service life free from noise - look no further. We have you covered.

Upgrade your E9X BMW with this all-in-one Turner Motorsport bundle featuring Fixed Camber Plates and Monoball Front Thrust Arms. Designed to improve handling, reduce deflection, and increase steering precision, this package delivers a noticeable performance boost both on the street and track—all without breaking the bank.

E9X Front Camber Plates – Fixed Position

Most BMWs leave the factory with conservative front camber to encourage understeer, which compromises handling and accelerates tire wear by reducing contact patch engagement. Turner Motorsport’s Fixed Camber Plates are a simple, effective solution, adding up to 2.5° of negative camber to your E90, E92, or E93.

By increasing front negative camber, you’ll enjoy:

Improved turn-in and cornering confidence

Reduced tire wear

Better overall handling balance

Designed with expertise gained from Turner Motorsport’s participation in the Speed World Challenge series, these plates are offset for the optimal camber/caster combination when running stock-diameter springs. They add only ~6mm of ride height and utilize the factory upper strut mount for a clean, straightforward installation—perfect for racing classes where adjustable camber plates are restricted, or for enthusiasts who want a simple, cost-effective negative camber upgrade.

BMW’s stock front thrust arm bushings are soft, compliant, and prone to wear—allowing fore/aft wheel movement that degrades steering feel, alignment, braking response, and tire performance. While designed for comfort, these OEM components fall short for enthusiasts and track-focused drivers seeking maximum control.

Turner Motorsport’s Monoball Front Thrust Arms solve these issues with:

Sealed OEM BMW ball joints for exceptional durability

CNC-machined 6061-T6 anodized aluminum bearing assembly with knurled OD for perfect press-fit and long life

Low-friction, no-bind design to eliminate unwanted suspension deflection

The result? Instantaneous turn-in, precise steering, direct braking feedback, and exceptional suspension feel, all while maintaining comfort and reliability for daily driving. Perfect for track use or spirited street driving, these thrust arms are a no-compromise upgrade for anyone looking to enhance BMW front-end performance.
