This is an OEM INA timing belt tensioner that keeps pressure on the engines timing belt and prevents its from slipping out of time. OEM replacement for BMW part # 11311711154 and 11311711153.

 The timing belt on the M20 engine should be replaced every 50,000 miles. The Gates Racing's timing belt this kit includes  is constructed of HNBR elastomeric composites. That being said, they are 300% stronger than the OE belt & deliver up to three times the heat resistance. Also included in this kit are the following:
