Most flywheel bolts are single-use only. They stretch when tightened. New mounting bolts are required with any flywheel swap. This is a set of 8 OE BMW M12x1.5x50mm flywheel bolts to help complete the job.

The SFI Foundation, Inc. (SFI) is a non-profit organization established to issue and administer standards for the quality assurance of specialty performance and racing equipment. SFI certification indicates a flywheel has been certified using industry-standard SFI Spec 1.1 standards by an independent testing body to ensure quality of both design and materials for flywheels utilized in competitive motorsports.

Having successfully passed SFI certification, this flywheel has an individual SFI serial number found in a laser etching, and on an affixed sticker. This clutch kit features a Heavy Duty pressure plate, a Performance Street sprung clutch disc, and an XACT Streetlite Flywheel.

The heavy duty pressure plate included offers a 20-50% clamp load increase, stock-moderate  pedal feel, and heat treated diaphragms for increased strength and performance.

Next in this kit is the R6 racing clutch disc. This disc is an unsprung, rigid disc with 6 pads that is best suited for drag and road racing and handles heat better thanks to its increased surface contact area versus the 4 pad version of this disc, the R4. The R6 pads are composed of ceramic friction materials and the disc has a chome-moly hub that is heat treated for additional strength under high load engagements. Over stock, this disc is much better for faster shifting and significantly higher torque loads. Unlike the stock disc, this racing disk has a slightly shortened life span due to its rigid design and pad composition. This in turn is offset thanks to its fast, aggressive engagement for track use.

The final main component is the XACT Streetlite Flywheel. This option is the most popular thanks to it versatility for street driving and drag/track style racing, its lighter weight for increased throttle response, and its single mass design.
