This electric auxiliary fan for BMW E36 mounts in front of the radiator and is designed to push air through the A/C Condenser and main radiator. This is the E36, Z3 engine radiator double temperature fan switch, 91/99 degree Celsius. This switch is designed to activate the auxiliary fan at the specified temperatures. A faulty switch can lead to the auxiliary fan not activating, causing overheating.
