This plastic window guide clip piece secures front and rear of the windows to the window regulator and allows it to move smoothly up and down. A common problem is for these slide clips to fail causing the window to become loose and to have trouble moving up and down. Often these clips can be replaced without having to remove the window regulator but in some case removing the window regulator is required.You may also want to purchase the door panel trim clips since you will have to remove those as well.
