A sporty 318ti needs a distinctive exhaust sound. Supersprint's sport rear muffler is a free-flow design to not only improve the sound with a throatier and sporty tone but also boost horsepower and torque. Since the exhaust can flow easier the engine has to work less and that will produce a moderate power increase. Supersprint makes one of the nicest, highest quality performance exhausts for the E36 M3 that we have seen. This exhaust functions more like a stock replacement sport exhaust than an aftermarket performance system. The sound is sporty and throaty but without attendant drama and over-powering sound. We like to say that it's a more mature sound than some other aftermarket exhaust which makes it perfect when included on an E36 M3 restoration or classic European tune. This Supersprint is all stainless steel and bolts on to the stock US catalytic converter section with the stock hangers and gaskets.
