By removing them and converting your system to an electric fan, the engine has to do less work, giving you that extra little bit of power. In this kit we include a lower temperature thermostat, coolant additive, and low temperature fan switch that engages the electric fan at a lower temperature, keeping your engine cool and lowering the drag and unneeded weight from the front end of your BMW.
