A strut tower brace adds additional reinforcement to the front strut towers, tying them together for extra rigidity. This makes the whole structure stronger with less chassis flex. Handling and steering feel are improved with better turn-in and input with no downsides. The Dinan strut tower brace is a very high quality aluminum brace with precision machined ends that match the contours of the strut tower. Other braces simply sit on top which reduces their effectiveness. This is definitely one of the stronger strut brace designs on the market. Dinan Performance Springs are matched to your BMW's chassis and suspension components to deliver better handling and looks without sacrificing ride quality. Spring rates are slightly stiffer than stock and dialed in to reduce bodyroll. A stiffer suspension makes the car more fun to drive and the lower ride height improves the looks by reducing wheel-fender gap.

One item to replace is the control arm. After years of service, the non-serviceable ball joints and other components can begin to wear out. Because some components cannot be replaced, the only solution is replacement of the entire arm.
If replacing any part of your front or rear suspension, it is best to either do it in pairs (both left and right sides), or examine parts that are prone to failure. This will provide the most service life out of replacement parts and assure they are all performing properly.

These Koni shocks and struts have been specially built to match the spring rate and lowering for Dinan Performance springs. They are similar to a standard Koni Sport Yellow shocks but the valving and length has been adjusted to go with the Dinan springs. These are a two-way adjustable shock, allowing you to pick an optimum setting for the driving you're doing.

Control arms, and their integrated ball joints, are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.
