When you upgrade to a Turner silicone intake boot you get a perfect fit that will not only outlast the OE design (meaning any vacuum leaks and rough idle), while also smoothing out airflow within the intake tract. Our E39 M62tu Silicone Intake boot is designed with a smooth contour for improved air flow compared to the OE corrugated rubber, featuring Stepped flanges to maintain smooth ID transition from air box to throttle body. The Turner intake boot also keeps simplicity in mind, with a one piece design, vs. the OE two-piece design. Installation is a breeze! In just a few minutes, you can replace your old worn boot for a sleek new upgrade! Constructed of 5-Ply reinforced silicone for improved durability over the failure prone OE rubber boot. We created an intake system that outflows the factory intake, maintains factory MAF scaling, provides increased induction noise, and looks great in the engine bay. Our intake was CAD designed inhouse to seamlessly integrate with OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations. Definitely a cost-effective option.

Here at Turner Motorsport, we strive to develop intakes to sound great and perform well, but also look amazing, Like any Turner Motorsport project, our M62TU intake is CAD designed by an in-house team of engineers - and it shows. The heat shield is wrinkle black powder coated CNC aluminum - featuring pre installed edge trim and a Turner brand plate. The heat shield is held to tight tolerances to keep hot engine bay air away from the intake, while retaining factory air inlet scoop compatibility to bring in cool, fresh air. Turner's intake also features a 6061-T6 CNC machined aluminum MAF housing that maintains factory MAF scaling. Lastly, the blue Turner filter is cleanable and reusable - featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze and a bell mouth inlet to maximize flow and filtration efficiency.

NOTE: This boot is a direct fit for the M62Tu (9/1998+). It will fit the non-TU (pre-9/1998) models with a slight relocation of the MAF sensor.
