Drive line slop is often caused by faulty engine and transmission mounts. This can result in knocking noises under heavy acceleration, excessive vibration, and a less responsive feel in power. These OEM Corteco mounts are perfect to eliminate these problems and provide long lasting reliability.

Automatic transmissions are reliable, shift smoothly, and can last without issue so long as they are properly maintained. Over time, the transmission fluid becomes thick and the filter becomes contaminated with small metal particles. This can cause excess wear, high transmission operating temperatures, and eventual failure. To prevent this we recommend changing your filter, fluid, and seals to ensure your transmission continues to operate flawlessly. We recommend filter and fluid changes every 50,000 miles. This kit includes Redline D4 ATF, the transmission filter, gasket and bolts. This filter fits A4S 270R/310R automatic transmissions on BMW E36 318i 318is 318ic 318it 323is 323ic 325i 325is 325ic 328i 328is 328ic. E34 525i M50. E39 528i Z3 2.3 2.8.

Don't neglect your motor mounts! Most stock BMW motor mounts are fluid filled and the stiffness of the mount depends on this fluid. But over time the fluid leaks out and the strength of the mount is greatly reduced. A worn motor mount allows the engine to twist and shift around. The harder you're driving the more shift will occur. As the engine is moving around it can contact other parts in the engine bay - usually cooling related. The mechanical fan can hit the radiator; the A/C compressor can hit a radiator hose, the exhaust will flex and may break. Twisting of the engine can also lead to shifting problems as the transmission twists with it. There are countless issues related to worn or compressed motor mounts so don't overlook these as a regular replacement item (every 50,000 miles).

This mount is for the right/passenger's side.

This is a direct replacement for the factory motor mount for M62 V8 engines and M73N V12 engines.
