This is a high quality replacment OEM VDO Mass Air Sensor.The MAF controls the amount of fuel that goes through the injectors based on the volume of air coming through the intake. If your vehicle is giving you a MAF code, replace it immediately to ensure you get the best gas mileage and performance. It is common for this part to fail slowly and cause poor fuel mileage and hampered performance. When it fails completely, the vehicle will stutter and stall as it falls into a limp mode. One way to check if your MAF is bad is to unplug the connector before starting your car. If it idles well (compared to a previous poor idle), your MAF needs replaced. If you let this maintenance part go, your fuel economy will suffer as too much fuel is going into the engine and not being burned. A great way to give your vehicle an efficiency boost.

Introducing Eventuri's S62 Carbon Fiber Plenum Lid, a true masterpiece meticulously crafted from 100% prepreg carbon fiber. This plenum lid seamlessly replaces the standard plastic version, elevating the acoustic signature of the BMW S62 V8 engine. Although it doesn't provide a performance boost, it revolutionizes the auditory thrill of driving the M5/Z8, introducing a fresh dimension to the driving experience.
The resulting sound profile is a symphony of automotive excellence, featuring a deep, resonant tone at low RPMs that gradually ascends in pitch as acceleration intensifies. As you reach higher RPMs, this plenum lid imparts a sound reminiscent of the iconic CSL, creating an intoxicating driving experience. Eventuri's journey involved experimenting with different carbon thicknesses to fine-tune the sound, resulting in a plenum lid that not only increases volume but also produces a melodious induction sound.

When it comes to styling a vehicle the proper look is one that compliments not cheapens the inherent design. Race inspired carbon fiber completes the look and style of every BMW M-powered model and Eventuri delivers on an entirely new level.
Made from 100% prepreg carbon fiber of the highest quality, the workmanship on the housing is second to none. This encapsulates the filter and is mated to an anodized aluminum inlet cowl to ensure a smooth inlet flow path. The filter itself is a deep pleated, high flow double cone configuration which is dry to avoid damaging the MAF sensor. Finally, the assembly is then mated to an aluminum heat shield which effectively shrouds the intake from engine bay heat and captures the ambient air being diverted from the scoop. Also, notice the rubber spacer on the mount of the heat shield - this is for the headlight module to sit on so that it remains at the right height - small details are important!
100% Prepreg carbon fiber with a CNC machined collar - the air scoop forces ambient air directly into the filter opening. This scoop simply clicks into place in the front right-hand brake duct and effectively saturates the mouth of the intake with cold air. It has been designed to take up half the height of the duct in order to allow airflow to still continue through the duct for the brakes. The scoop is so effective that even after a hard drive, the aluminum cowl at the mouth of the intake will still feel cold to touch!
