These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

These bolt to your existing seat mounting studs in the floor and offer the lowest profile of any floor mount (22mm height). This helps to keep your seat at the lowest position possible. Your seat adapters or sliders bolt to this adapter plate. These floor mounts are a matrix style with rows of threaded holes that allow you to find an ideal seat location. Aluminum flywheels are much lighter than the stock steel flywheel and that produces better throttle response and more available horsepower to the wheels for faster acceleration. The JB Racing aluminum flywheels are a direct replacement for the stock flywheel and work with stock clutch components for an easy upgrade with very little downside.

Modern flywheels are built with additional components and features that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. As a result they have become bloated in weight and that means more energy is used up just making the flywheel spin. The weight difference between an aluminum and steel flywheel is huge - sometimes more than 50% less. Without the additional mass, more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance.

In addition to releasing more power to the wheels, the lighter flywheel allows the engine to spin more freely, which improves throttle response. Again, the difference is huge as you watch the revs build faster than before. With the engine spinning easier the power band comes up much sooner. The stock steel flywheel feels lazy in comparison. There is a driving adjustment required to get used to how much faster the engine revs but that's not really a downside.

The JB lightweight flywheel is designed to be used with a factory organic clutch - the same clutch kit that you would get from any BMW dealer. This makes replacement clutch components easy to source and inexpensive when compared to specialized racing clutches. By using the factory BMW clutch, JB has also made the whole assembly easy to live with when used on the street. The clutch behaves the same as it originally did - just with better throttle response and more power! The JB flywheel can also be rebuilt with a new clutch contact surface - you don't have to buy a new flywheel.

Aluminum flywheels are considered 'single-mass' flywheels because they do not have the same dampening designs as an original 'dual-mass' flywheel. With a single-mass design more noise and vibration may be noticeable. There are steps you can take to minimize the noise - heavier weight transmission oil and clutch discs with anti-rattle springs (sprung-hub clutch).

This JB flywheel replaces the stock flywheel and can be used with either the stock 228mm or stock 240mm clutch discs. Depending on the model you may have either clutch size in your car but this flywheel is compatible with both. You can install a 240mm clutch as a mild upgrade.

JB Flywheel Weight = 12.0lbs

Rear adjustable camber and toe bushings for the E82/E9X non-M 3-series. These bushings allow you to adjust camber and toe beyond factory specs to either restore camber or add more. If you lowered your car and have too much camber these bushings can get you back to stock specs. On the flip side if you need more camber for the track or autocross, you can fine tune it with these too. These bushings press in and replace the existing rubber bushings. When adding boost to the N54 engine, it's important to consider effects throughout the rest of the system. Additional boost can overwhelm the stock BMW diverter valve system and lead to boost leakage, or boost spikes, and lost horsepower. With the factory components in place it's hard to maintain consistently high boost levels. Instead of the weak plastic components of the stock system, Active Autowerke uses a CNC-machined and mandrel-bent aluminum tube with a Venturi blow-off valve in place of the original diverter valves. The blow-off valve dumps overboost into the atmosphere for that distinctive turbo 'whoosh' sound. The single AA BOV is over-sized for the N54 application - taking the place of the two small diverter valves, and verified to handle over 600hp. With the BOV acting properly your turbos and other components are protected from compressor surge caused by excess pressure build-up.

We like the Active BOV better than other forms of diverter and BOV kits because it's tried and true - AA was the original turbo BMW tuners and their experience is second to none. That's why they took the time to engineer their kit to fit perfectly, using the OE-type connector to the throttle body, and high-strength silicone to the lower intercooler tube. Each connection is a tight, leak-free seal. The kit comes complete with the discharge tube, vacuum plugs for the stock hoses, and instructions. The tube is powdercoated in black and with a wrinkle finish for an OE appearance.

One major weak point in the N55 turbo plumbing is the stock upper chargepipe from the intercooler outlet to the intake manifold. The original N55 charge pipe is made from a weak plastic and can fail with even stock boost levels. The most common problem is a crack that develops along a seam where the pipe connects to the throttle body. Any crack here is bad as it creates a massive vacuum leak and the engine electronics will put the car into limp mode. If you don't want to be sidelined there is a very simple fix - the Active Autowerke N55 charge pipe.

This aluminum pipe is much stronger and more durable and nearly indestructable for the N55 application. It uses a CNC-machined factory-style connection and o-ring to the throttle body to ensure a tight and leak-free seal. The piping is a consistent 3" diameter for better flow and an improved throttle response. AA has included a raised boss with two ports should you choose to add a water/meth injection system later. The factory MAP sensor installs in the same location and the pipe is powdercoated black for a factory-type appearance.

With a stronger pipe you don't have to worry about the infamous chargepipe crack and lost boost levels and horsepower. All of the boost in the world is useless if it's leaking so using beefed up components in place of the weak factory pieces is the smart way to consistently high power output.

Since there is less bushing than on the Stage 1, more noise and vibration will reach the driver. The adjustment design is similar to the Stage 1 with a floating mount that sets camber and caster simultaneously. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. These plates can work on both coil over and stock-stype suspensions and upper spring perches are included for OEM springs, 60mm, and 2.5" coil over springs. The upper perch assembly incorporate a self-sliding radial bushing that allows the spring to spin during its travel instead of bind. This reduces tension on the spring and helps reduce noise and spring 'popping' noises. Bearing inserts, spacers for correct articulating angles, and 3 sizes of upper nut adapters included. The urethane bushings and bearings are replaceable if they wear out. These are designed mainly for adding negative camber for improved handling and not for camber correction back to stock settings (see Stage 1 kit). Basic instructions included but professional installation is required.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The proper stacked height and clearances are required. K-Mac includes bearing adapters, spacers, and various top nuts but it is still the responsibility of the installer to ensure a correct and safe fitment. These plates can work on both coil over and stock-stype suspensions and upper spring perches are included for OEM springs, 60mm, and 2.5" coil over springs. The upper perch assembly incorporate a self-sliding radial bushing that allows the spring to spin during its travel instead of bind. This reduces tension on the spring and helps reduce noise and spring 'popping' noises. Bearing inserts, spacers for correct articulating angles, and 3 sizes of upper nut adapters included. The urethane bushings and bearings are replaceable if they wear out. These are designed mainly for adding negative camber for improved handling and not for camber correction back to stock settings (see Stage 1 kit). Basic instructions included but professional installation is required.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The proper stacked height and clearances are required. K-Mac includes bearing adapters, spacers, and various top nuts but it is still the responsibility of the installer to ensure a correct and safe fitment. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.
