In order to mount aftermarket seats in your car, you need a floor mount adapter. These high-quality aluminum adapters are made by Macht Schnell. These bolt to your existing seat mounting studs in the floor and offer the lowest profile of any floor mount (22mm height). This helps to keep your seat at the lowest position possible. Your seat adapters or sliders bolt to this adapter plate. These floor mounts are a matrix style with rows of threaded holes that allow you to find an ideal seat location. There are other options - including homemade - but these seat brackets for your BMW are the highest quality to match your expensive seats.

Sold per seat. Can be used on left or ride sides of vehicle.

Aluminum flywheels are much lighter than the stock steel flywheel and that produces better throttle response and more available horsepower to the wheels for faster acceleration. The JB Racing aluminum flywheels are a direct replacement for the stock flywheel and work with stock clutch components for an easy upgrade with very little downside.

Modern flywheels are built with additional components and features that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. As a result they have become bloated in weight and that means more energy is used up just making the flywheel spin. The weight difference between an aluminum and steel flywheel is huge - sometimes more than 50% less. Without the additional mass, more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance.

In addition to releasing more power to the wheels, the lighter flywheel allows the engine to spin more freely, which improves throttle response. Again, the difference is huge as you watch the revs build faster than before. With the engine spinning easier the power band comes up much sooner. The stock steel flywheel feels lazy in comparison. There is a driving adjustment required to get used to how much faster the engine revs but that's not really a downside.

The JB lightweight flywheel is designed to be used with a factory organic clutch - the same clutch kit that you would get from any BMW dealer. This makes replacement clutch components easy to source and inexpensive when compared to specialized racing clutches. By using the factory BMW clutch, JB has also made the whole assembly easy to live with when used on the street. The clutch behaves the same as it originally did - just with better throttle response and more power! The JB flywheel can also be rebuilt with a new clutch contact surface - you don't have to buy a new flywheel.

Aluminum flywheels are considered 'single-mass' flywheels because they do not have the same dampening designs as an original 'dual-mass' flywheel. With a single-mass design more noise and vibration may be noticeable. There are steps you can take to minimize the noise - heavier weight transmission oil and clutch discs with anti-rattle springs (sprung-hub clutch).

This JB flywheel replaces the stock flywheel and can be used with either the stock 228mm or stock 240mm clutch discs. Depending on the model you may have either clutch size in your car but this flywheel is compatible with both. You can install a 240mm clutch as a mild upgrade.

Stock Flywheel Weight = 24-31.0lbs
JB Flywheel Weight = 12.0lbs

This slip-on muffler is an "axle back" system that is mounted on the MotoGP 1M Coupe Safety Car and now is available for street going 1M Coupes. The Akrapovic Slip-On Titanium exhaust system for the BMW 1M Coupe is designed for drivers who demand more power and less weight. In addition to a weight reduction and a power gain, one of the tasks of the Akrapovic team was also to make the sound of the 1M Coupe become music to ones ears. An optional wireless "dualmode" exhaust flap control allows the vehicle to have a more civilized, but deeper than stock sound at low speed. However, when the exhaust flap is opened the muffler is bypassed, creating a deep and sporty sound much more in keeping with the personality of the car.

A turbocharged BMW such as the 135i or 335i needs traction to put that power to the ground. The stock differential of both the 135i and 335i only put power to one wheel -- this just won't cut it! Upgrading to a limited slip differential means power to BOTH wheels, for better lauch, acceleration, and track handling. We're excited to be carrying the OS Giken LSD unit in our performance catalog, as we've used their products on our own Championship winning E46 and E92 race cars.

With the 135i/335i LSD unit, they have incorporated revolutionary new ideas into the design (4 years in the making!) which uses an unprecedented number of friction plates (up to 28 total!) for better locking force, better engagement/disengagement, and less generated heat. The end result of their efforts is the OS Giken's OS Super Lock LSD which offers incredible durability and reliability on street and track driven BMWs. The use of highest quality materials, precise machining, forged gears and sound engineering makes this LSD durable and reliable enough for road racing performance (which we can personally vouch for!). Zero break-in required. Super smooth and quiet engagement, and 100% progressive locking capability.

Installation note: BMW differentials use many unique and BMW-only parts and components. Only technicians who are experienced and familiar with BMW parts should perform the installation. The OS Giken LSD is the limited slip unit (or 'chunk') only. It replaces the stock non-LSD chunk but the original ring and pinion and other internals must be installed with the OS Giken unit. This unit will only work on 335i manual differentials with a bolt-in or modified ring gear. Proper setup and spacing is critical for long life operation. OS Giken's newest innovation is their quietest and smoothest limited slip unit yet - the Traction Control Differential (TCD). TCD is similar to their excellent Superlock differentials but with additional oil channels and pathways. The added lubrication makes diff operation smoother and quieter than before (not that there were many complaints to begin with). The locking engagement is more progressive than before which makes this diff more suitable for street driving. Track cars and drift cars should still use the Superlock LSD as it will transition to lock sooner. TCD is an evolution of a diff that was already extremely well-engineered for road and track use. Not willing to rest on their laurels, they took their superior engineering a step further.

With the 135i/335i LSD unit, they have incorporated revolutionary ideas into the overall limited-slip design which uses an unprecedented number of friction plates (up to 28 total!) for better locking force, better engagement/disengagement, and less generated heat.
