The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
This Racing Dynamics "boost pipe" is constructed of 3" mandrel bent tubing for smoother airflow and is stronger than the factory plastic piece. It features clip slots for OE fit and is complete with connecting hoses and hose clamps.
