Replacement N55 Performance Filter from Burger Motorsport

Enhance your BMW's performance with the Replacement N55 Performance Filter from Burger Motorsport. Specifically designed for N55 engines, this filter optimizes airflow, leading to increased horsepower and torque. Enjoy improved throttle response and fuel efficiency, all while protecting your engine from harmful contaminants.

Key Features:

• Designed for N55 engines
• Optimizes airflow for increased power
• Improves throttle response and fuel efficiency
• Protects engine from contaminants

In BMW's with the N55, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with new high flow ducting and a performance filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and turbo spooling!

Installation and removal is extremely quick and easy, taking only 5 minutes in the driveway!

Features:

• Adds up to 10+ Horsepower
• Dramatic sound improvement
• Super fast install and removal
• Improves throttle response
• Retains OEM airbox base as a heat shield
• Retains OEM cold air ducting
• Looks great under the hood
• Cleanable and reusable filter
• Made in the USA

An easy way to improve the performance of your N54 powered BMW is by removing the stock air box and swapping in this Dual Cone Intake "DCI" from Burger Motorsports. Featuring two S&B inverted cone filters with adapter couplers and new hardware, these easily install into the stock box location, allowing for greatly improved intake air flow. This is great for both stock and modified vehicles, as this allows for greater air flow at all RPMs and removes the air restriction that would normally rob your engine of power.

In addition to increased power, these filters give your engine a more aggressive appearance and sound that any automotive enthusiast will appreciate.

All of the tuning in the world is only as good as the weakest link. More boost in your 135/335 is great! But you will soon learn that some of the factory hardware is not up to the task of handling that extra pressure. One of the first things to fail and cause a boost leak are the factory boost diverter valves. This allows boost to "leak" out of the intake stream and a loss of power from the engine. This ECS Tuning chargepipe upgrade includes a blow-off valve in place of the factory diverter valves. The BOV is higher quality than the diverter valves and will exit intake air to the outside instead of putting it back through the turbo system (which will reduce strain on the turbos). This aluminum chargepipe is also much more robust than the stock plastic factory pipe and the connection to the throttle body is stronger, eliminating another failure point of the stock pipe.

Built-in 1/8" NPT ports allow you to run an additional methanol injection kit (bungs included if you don't want use the ports).

This is a complete kit that includes everything you need to replace the factory chargepipe and diverter valves -

powedercoat chargepipe ECS Tuning blow-off valve Includes three interchangeable BOV springs, allowing you to tailor venting function to your existing modifications. 1.9 (For use with factory software) 2.0 (Pre-installed in the SQV BOV - suitable for stock or "Stage One" software) 2.2 (Suitable for "Stage Two" software) vacuum plugs for the stock diverter valve hoses silicone hose connection to intercooler piping all hardware and hose clamps with instructions

The ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik (Carbon Fiber Air Technology) intake for the 135/335/535 is a beautifully crafted dual-cone intake with a glossy carbon fiber enclosure. Developed in-house using ECS's chassis dyno and state of the art laser scanning and 3D CAD technology, the N54 carbon airbox is a direct replacement for the stock system. Laser scanning allows ECS to produce a finished product that is a perfect fit to the engine bay. All tubing is also made from carbon fiber with each piece designed for optimal flow. The carbon fiber sandwiches a special heat-blocking fiberglass core, insulating the air box from engine bay heat. All of this combines to produce more power and torque over a wider RPM range - up to 13ft-lbs and 18hp when combined with a Cobb software tune, FMIC, and exhaust. And it looks amazing every time you open the hood.

135/335/535 ECS Carbon intake features -

• Designed and engineered using CAD technology for optimal flow and fitment
• Dyno proven power and torque gains backed with real-world testing
• Washable/reusable high flow cotton filters (pre-oiled)
• Stainless steel hardware
• Direct replacement for stock air box; integrates seamlessly with stock intake piping
• Beautiful and functional carbon fiber/e-fiberglass construction

Looking to upgrade your intercooler? This Phoenix Racing intercooler designed by Burger Motorsport is a great option that delivers better cooling, more power to the wheels, and allows you to hold that power longer during extended runs. A larger core and increased surface area dramatically improves cooling and reduces pressure drop. After extensive testing, this can allow your N54/55 powered BMW to gain around 10+peak wheel horsepower and during longer pulls and multiple runs, as much as 20-30whp over the factory intercooler.

Phoenix replacement intercoolers are a direct replacement for your factory intercooler and fully reversible. All required hardware is included.

Dimensions: 20" x 5.25" x 5.25"

If you are looking to replace your stock chargepipe for better reliability and higher performance, the Burger Motorsports designed and Phoenix Racing built Performance Aluminum Chargepipe is an excellent choice! This aluminum chargepipe is significantly stronger than the stock plastic pipe and the powder coated aluminum looks great and will resist any corrosion. Plus, this chargepipe features a 3 inch design for optimal flow at all RPMs, prevent restriction that would normally be seen with the stock pipe. This is perfect for someone looking to upgrade a stock or tuned N54!
