The intake boot is a regular issue especially for BMW's, nearly all vehicles have a boot manufactured from rubber with an accordion section in the design for flexibility. This flexible section is typically where the failure comes from, leading to vacuum leak engine codes, rough idle, and increase fuel consumption. 

When you upgrade to a Turner silicone intake boot you get a perfect fit that will not only outlast the OE design (meaning any vacuum leaks and rough idle), while also smoothing out airflow within the intake tract. This boot also eliminates the factory intake resonator giving your engine a much more aggressive sound under the hood especially at higher rpm. Available in black or Turner blue color, our intake boot offers either a pop of color or a cohesive, complementary look in your engine bay.

The Turner Motorsport silicone intake boot is manufactured with 5 layers of wire reinforced silicone to prevent collapse under load. Engineered in-house utilizing 3D scanning technology, this boot offers perfect fitment with the factory air box and either single stage or three stage (high output N52) intake manifolds.

Install as a standalone reliability improvement or in addition to our three stage intake manifold and Turner performance tune (available here).

Replaces OE intake boot 13717536004.

The E90 330i had the highest horsepower out of the N52-powered vehicles. The reason for this was while the 128i, 325i, 328i, 525i, and 528i received a single-stage manifold, the 330i was gifted a 3-stage manifold. A 3-stage manifold consisted of 2 DISA valves that would divert air to the cylinders that needed it. With more air going to the appropriate cylinders and fuel adjustments by the ECU, this valve system helps extract the most power from the N52. With 22% more surface area than the factory IC the Mishimoto FMIC kit is more efficient. And that helps maintain your boost levels and performance! The factory intercooler is quickly overcome with heat and that leads to a loss of boost and performance. Factor in greater boost levels and other modifications and the more heat soak will put you out of the running. The solution is an intercooler with more capacity for cooling. 

The best feature of this kit is how easy it is to install. It's a direct bolt-on replacement for your stock intercooler - no removing the bumper or modifying brackets or wrestling with plumbing. Core size measures 20.5"x5.1"x5.3". The entire IC is aluminum, eliminating potential weak spots with plastic end tanks. The CAD and FEM process also allows them to design their cooler internals without any bottlenecks or restrictions. And it comes with Mishimoto's awesome lifetime warranty and accident forgiveness. Fits both N54 and N55 cars.
