The DISA Valve adjusts the intake manifold runner length to improve performance. When it fails it can lead to a rough idle and perhaps an engine fault code light. This adjusting unit fits cars with N52 or N51 engine - not N52N models. This is the smaller of the 2 DISA Valves on this motor, it is considered the "Upper Disa valve". The lower DISA valve is part number 11617579114 From 1974 to 2019, Bavarian Autosport was one of the premier vendors for BMW and MINI auto parts. The E90 330i had the highest horsepower out of the N52-powered vehicles. The reason for this was while the 128i, 325i, 328i, 525i, and 528i received a single-stage manifold, the 330i was gifted a 3-stage manifold. A 3-stage manifold consisted of 2 DISA valves that would divert air to the cylinders that needed it. With more air going to the appropriate cylinders and fuel adjustments by the ECU, this valve system helps extract the most power from the N52. This manifold is stronger, outflows the OEM manifold, and installs just as easily as your stock piece (no custom charge pipe or throttle body harness required). Available in five different finishes! Features: Full billet production using aircraft 6061-T6. VTT is proud to offer the very best Cold Side charge pipe solution for the BMW E Series N54 platform. This system completely does away with the restrictive, and muli-connection stock charge pipe system, and replaces it with a single 6-ply, Heat Resistant, Wire reinforced silicone charge pipe rated at over 200 psi. They are molded for the perfect fit in your engine bay, while not sacrificing anything in the way of flow or size. They also completely isolate your charge air from any additional heat soak coming in from the engine or ambient heat. Another huge benefit is only TWO connections which are barbed and has many small ridges which dig into the silicone so it’s impossible for the pipe to blow off.

This N54 pipe has a flange installed to support a Turbosmart BOV.

This is the EASIEST N54 charge pipe on the market to install hands down. Install takes about half an hour even if you are inexperienced with working on your own car, can take as little as 15-20 minutes if you have had it apart a few times.

The kit includes:

VTT Cold Side Silicone Charge pipe

2 VTT Branded CNC adapters to mount the map sensor, and a methanol bung

1 VTT Branded CNC adapters for the TB inlet
