Worn out end links cause a variety of issues, the most prominent being front end clunks. To remedy this, we recommend quality OE supplier end links. On the other hand, if you have an aftermarket sway bar or your car is lowered, we have a variety of adjustable end links available for your BMW so that you can properly load your sway bar according to your suspension setup.
The non-Sport E82 128i did not come with a rear sway bar. If you're adding the Sport package bar or another aftermarket type you will need this additional package of mounting parts and rear swaybar links to complete the install. This package includes:
rear sway bar bushing brackets, 33556780707
bracket mounting screws, 07119907125
rear sway bar links, 33556764428
lower link mounting bolts, 07119903931
upper link mounting nuts, 33326768884
This kit also makes a nice package as part of a rear suspension overhaul.

The sway bar acts as the bridge between your vehicle’s left and right lower control arms, working like a spring as it twists and rebounds through corners. Factory bars deliver factory handling—smooth and predictable. When the sway bar end links are worn or broken, that connection weakens, and your suspension can’t perform as intended. Replacing them with quality Febi end links restores proper function and brings back the crisp, planted feel your car had when everything was tight. Fresh end links mean flatter cornering, reduced body roll, and more confidence in every turn. Common signs of worn end links include loose or floaty cornering, knocking noises over bumps, and a generally sloppy suspension feel. Luckily, replacement is straightforward and well within reach for any DIY enthusiast.
