This is Bosch's updated high pressure fuel pump "HPFP" for BMW's with the N55 turbo engine. This fuel pump is the OEM equivalent to BMW part number 13518604231 and supersedes BMW part number 13517610761. Sputtering, no starts, or rough idle could be an indication of a failing or failed fuel pump. Also, if your gas gauge is not reading correctly, or not at all, it's probably the level sensor on this pump. Unfortunately, the level sensor is part of the pump assembly and must be replaced as a whole. This replacement Bremmen fuel pump is the perfect option to get your BMW back on the road without draining your wallet.
