The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.

This inlet will dramatically increase flow, especially when in mid to upper RPM range, as well as a more aggressive exhaust note. The VRSF inlet solution is unique in that it features a CNC'd aluminum flange that offers a larger overall inside diameter, increasing flow and decreases back pressure. This product is compatible with any OEM or after market intake and any upgraded turbo that is compatible with the OEM intake.

The OEM plastic lower charge pipe is very restrictive and prone to failure under stock boost levels. VRSF solves this issue with a 2.5" mandrel bent aluminum replacement that increases flow, and is much more reliable. This upgrade will improve the turbo spool of your N54 or N55 engine, and enables you to safely tune for more boost.
