The built-in 21mm hex and a 3/8" drive socket wrench fitting that does not require a special removal/install tool like the factory cap. Uses the OE oil filter, filter housing o-ring, and filter cage. This is the replacement OEM oil filter kit for the S54 engine, as used in the E46 M3, Z4 M Roadster and M Coupe, as well as the 2001-2002 MZ3 M Roadster/Coupe (with S54 engine).
